Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

PB80 Lurker thread - Screw tolerance level over 9000!!

Yuris city that he re placed after Commodore razed it the first time puts a lot of awkwardness in this situation. I don't think I've read anything regarding Yuris telling Commodore he wants to go after Pin. Commodore taking that peninsula makes sure he has 2 awkward borders (and goes to war with Pin immediately), so it only makes sense to go for it if he think he will get a 2v1 against Pin instead of initiating a 2v1 against himself.

Honestly, the foody peninsula is probably better for Commodore than what Yuri's got.

I think the calculus may be that Yuris is the better target than Pindicator. Pindicator has other places to go, Yuris doesn't really.

Also, I think Commodore can win the entire game with nothing but his land + most/all of Yuris' land. It would also be quite defensible.

Intended meaning: let me have this spot, and we can go attack Commodore in 10 turns

Yuri sounds the alarm

I'm guessing that means 10 knights near the Pig-Horse location:

It's kind of fun imagining two people trying to negotiate/communicate by putting a bunch of livestock and gold on a table, pointing at places on a map, and then making hammer motions.

PB78 spoilers:

I've basically given up trying to understand anything non-straightforward on the turn it arrives. I just park it in my brain and wait for weird interpretations to pop out over the next day!

Gonna go out on a limb and note that Totestra is partly to blame for why most of the players in this game are already bored and ready to be done.

It does tend to be the case that people give up on games when they're clearly behind and find it annoying when they feel they've lost from T1.

Impressively little grousing about the map though. Admittedly Yuris is the best of souls.

I do think we have to crown Yuris the Most Screwed anyone has ever been by a game. First off, they play untouched Totestra, and he gets the worst map roll. And then the Civ he randomly draws cannot build its UU due to an unfixable mod bug.

Not only can't he build his UU (I think he could live without that), but he's unable to build pikes as well.
