"do no small harm"

Magic. Is taking that island from me worth losing your game over? Im pretty willing to dump alot of hammers into HA's as previous games have shown, and magic has clearly made at least SOME of an enemy out of Gavagai judging from the power graph.

In other news, Dreylin took the barb city to the north with HA's, so im adding spears to my defense force for the blockade city. Im "fine" with him getting the rest of the northern land after that.

Nauf, any thoughts?

Killed one immortal on the defense. He captured and filled it with an axe, the wounded immortal, and an archer. He has 1 immortal in range of Fuji, with another 2 in that canal city that will likely move to the same position (SE of mace) He has a 2nd galley that could be filled with units, but regardless.. i put a scout between the mace-hill and the city to help prevent as many units hitting it. I offered him peace. He has taken what he might consider his. Despite building the oracle specifically for that city, getting that city... ect.

He can either take the offered peace treaty, or we both drag each other down because he wants to be stupid. He was/is/now is higher on most of the demos. Did he think i was weak? I was high-3rd in power. Did he want to justify his military buildup that didnt result in winning vs Gavagai? Very curious what his reasoning is. Ill let the city go, but assaulting my oracle/super production city is not going to go down without a fight.

I thought pretty long and hard on if i should accept it. Magic tech'd fued, and is going to be able to 3t Construction i bet. Im not making anymore headway in this war with HA's, and im very close to Knights. (close-er than others) So, im going to build infrastructure, and queue up a bunch of HA's for a knight push.

Finishing construction, and making a beeline for Guilds. Im probably looking closer to the new "main threat" Although Magic even at 10 cities AND paying most (if not all?) of us 10gpt.. is making more than me at 0%. So, id still say he isnt out of the running by any-means. Dreylin has a religion or two + the mids, and Gavagai is Gavagai. Thrawn was coming back very nicely from a not-so-great start, and perhaps DZ can continue the rise. Thrawn was wanting a new war vs Gavagai soon, and i just cannot commit to another war for a little while. I want/need to get some infrastructure completed before i start building HA's everywhere for the Knight push. Im still trying to decide on a target, but if there is no outside forces attacking as well, im probably leaning Magic or Dreylin. I want Gavagai and i to continue to have decent enough relations. We have a de-militarized border, its safely away from each other, and we both know the other defends like a rabid animal. Ive got 2 (3 if u count a filler island city) cities left to plant eventually, but after that its all conquering-land.

Cinnamon is spelled wrong in your city list

Great Prophet in 1 turn... do you have any plain laid out for that and great people in general and any golden ages?

Care to run us through your empire, with thougts on each city? Doesnt need a screenshot for each, an overview will do. (I think your last overview was T68)

I wasnt hired for my spelling.

Uh, going to go shrine my Buddhism city.

Next GP will be for a GA, with whatever one i get (probably scientist) will be an academy in the capital.

Yeah, next turn ill take a rough screenshot of each "area" of my empire, and go thru what my thoughts were on the founding/purpose of each city.

SURE! South, i had to go on a quick expedition with some HA's to kill a barb city (u can see the ruins below Sonic) in order to claim my furs while also having a pretty insulated city.

Insomnia cookies was settled as one of my now 3! complete land-blocking cities. The map really helped me there, being able to block off access to the rest of my empire from 3 different directions is really quite helpful. Now, of course with that one they can just go north, but they cant really access the others without first going thru it.

Cinni rolls is the city i captured from Magic. Id comfortably say, its probably slightly on his side of the middle-line between us, but considering he took Megaton from me after my hard work to cram oracle into a city to grab it.. and then trying to take the entire middle area up there.. Yeah, this city is mine, along with the middle ground.

Coldstone was settled much in the same way, its a stop-gap to fend off any ground Gavagai invasion should it try and come this way instead of the... uh, easier way.

Cream savers is a filler with non-filler levels of food. it will probably run specialists at some point.

Burger King. My first convert from the barb infidels. My Buddhist holy city spawned north of that, instead of where i plopped the oracle.. so i over-killed it with culture and then it took FOREVER to flip. Followed by flipping and giving me a chariot as a defender, which promptly beat the extra archer they had floating around that attacked on the inter-turn.

Wendys, was settled to claim the sheep/fish and to of course, flip the barb city. Next turn it will be shrined, and i hope Gavagai keeps his MONSTER stack far far away.

Subway was a stepping stone city whose purpose is now pure production. Pump units.

Dairy Queen was my 2nd city, and has proven to be a hell of a commerce city. The iron resource there has been mined down to 1t, incase the one by Magic gets pillaged when i begin knight production in ~15-20t, depending of course if i get dragged into a war. Everyone around me (thrawn/dz and Gavagai) are wanting me to join their wars. I NEED TO BUILD INFRASTRUCTURE. I dont exactly want to tell them no, because my lower power plus score/cities probably translates into "target acquired" Which i dont really wanna whip down to avoid. . . Now where was i...

Ah, McDonalds. Who doesnt love heart disease on a bun? Or do you prefer their 10pc chicken cancer? Joking aside (ill still eat it) Typical capital. Going for an eventual academy/buru cap down the road.

Fuji Steakhouse. The REAL production machine. Once it finishes its settler which is pegged for a city to the north, it will begin producing a defense force while i tech towards knights.

TGI Fridays. Pretty decent mixed city. Does commerce well, and can pump out units in a pinch.

Caseys. Was settled ON the silver due to really needing the happy at the time, and i think another reason, but cannot recall atm. Anyway, its a worse-version of TGI fridays. Probably going to farm the grassland and try and go full production it as well.

HuHot. My 3rd block-city. Got here just before Dreylin, the sneaky lil shit. That would have been REALLY greedy by him, and id have gone to war specifically for this city spot. Ive been pushing culture in it to keep the clam under my control, and when those buildings are done it will be a military pump.

Any questions, ive of course, screwed up many things throughout this pb, but i DO like my position. OH WAIT.

I hope no one will ever call me the aggressive one in a PB when Gavagai is also in game. nono

Next turn i pop a GA and swap to Buddhism, and vassalage. By the end of it, i should be in Theocracy as well. Not the "best" timed GA/ect.. but im pumping Knights out incase Gavagai actually declares and moves in on Dreylin/anyone. If he doesnt (im not going in first, i have nothing to gain by doing so) ill just continue to slowly pump knights while teching to Cuirs b4 running over someone. Im on a beeline. I believe cuirs will be the deciding military tech this game. If all else fails, i can bumrush and raze Magic's GLH city, and then only Dreylin has any chance of out-teching me.

Ive gotta be careful to not end up like Magic, where everyone dogpiles b4 you reach a decisive military edge.

Im probably greeding by doing so, but ive paused most of my knight builds from finishing so that i can get the Vassalage xp on top of it. Im not going to greed the 3-4t it will take to get Theocracy however. 3ish? turns from now power graph will look nice.
