like this? Just add some dark spots/lines into the normal settler unit unless you want it more severe. I'm still working on the goblins, so I can't really take requests right now.

Hopefully I'll get more free time irl soon as I am pretty thin on it at the moment, I've been covering extra shifts for coworkers for about half-a-year or-so at this point, it's been so long that my boss either forgot or was hoping that I forget that it's not my actual schedule and was either surprised or annoyed that I request my old schedule back lol. And I've also had to spend extra time when not at working helping to take care of family. I have a painting that I was making for a coworkers birthday sitting next to me from july that I haven't had the time to work on.

Not to mention that I am still hoping to release my own my mod at one point! I can make quick prototype sprites as that only takes like a minute or so, and maybe I can do them from other angles as well, but it might be most efficient to leave animating them to you guys.

Work on the goblin pack is slow, but I assure you it's steady. Their will be plenty of stuff for you to pick at in to suit your needs, and some other little extras that you may or may not feel like using. : )

Not in hurry though, you should finish goblin first. I just want some tattered canvas to represent they are people who suffer and unprepared.

I would like to request your help on goblin units as I plan to adopt goblins from More Stuff mod into Warlord mod. But I have completely different vision from Slingers as I want it to be more like Green Skins and Orks from Warhammer/40k with something like

Take directly from More Stuff (but if you want to make new one, I will always accept it)
- Goblin Spearmen (Using Goblin Spearmen (295))
- Goblin Swordsmen (Using Goblin Swordsmen (296))
- Goblin Bowmen (Using Goblin Poison Archers (297))
- Goblin Hobgoblin (Using Goblin Hobgoblin (301))
- Goblin Warboss (Using Goblin Ogre (302))

Take from More Stuff for now, but I would prefer completely new sprite.
- Goblin Spider Riders (goblin ride on not-so-giant spider) (Using Goblin Spider Riders (303) for now)
- Goblin Sappers (merging, wall-crushing, quickcast trap-layer) (Using Goblin Engineers (300) for now)
- Goblin Rabblerousers (caster unit with ability to turn other unit into suicide bomber, replacing priest line) (using Goblin Shaman (298) for now)
- Goblin Hexer (caster unit with ability to cast liability several times, replace magister line) (using Goblin Magicians (299) for now)

Need new sprites
- Goblin Arsonist (goblin with flamethrower)
- Goblin Nightgoblins (stealth invisible range unit)
- Goblin Kiters/Gliders (flying multifigure goblin unit)
- Goblin Doomdiver Catapult (shooting living goblins as ammunition, very high to-hit due to missile is "homing") (need both unit and projectile animation sprites)

Anything that already exist or have equivalent in More Stuff I will use thing from More Stuff. The rest I would like to ask you to make it for me. Would you like to help?

@WingsofMemory

I will make some revision and additional idea about new goblins units
- Goblin Doomdiver Catapult might nolonger need new sprite as new update of Warlord mod has each race have unique catapult and ship bonus anyway, so I think I could just change to-hit and projectile type by create unit script for that. So the work on this would reduce to just doomdiver ammunition animation sprite)

and here is some additional idea for goblins units that likely need new sprites
- Goblin Midget Submarine (multiple figures, invisible at sea unit of midget death-trap (as harmful to crews as much as enemy) submarines that survival rely on missile immunity, fire immunity, and invisibility)
- Goblin Doom Wheels (multiple figures of fast moving mechanical unit of death-trap (shoddy and harmful to driver) bikers gang based on Skaven's doomwheel from Warhammer fantasy, Doomwheel | Warhammer Wiki | Fandom, Doomwheel - Total War: WARHAMMER Wiki (fandom.com), Doom-Flayers - Total War: WARHAMMER Wiki (fandom.com) )
- Goblin Plaguebearers (Extremely frail unit that when enter combat will cause enemy to start combat with plague debuff but have innate jinx debuff on itself and dark force that gradually kill the unit on its own)
- Goblin Mechaniacs (mutifigure unit that buff mechanical units in combat by +20% To-Hit, +10% To-Defend and heal 1 HP per turn if HP of mechanical unit less than half.)

You said that you wanted the spider riders smaller, so how are these?

They are great.

If you ask me what sprites are the most urgent one are Arsonists, Nightgoblins, Mechaniacs, Plaguebearers, Doomwheels, Gliders, and Midget Submarines. The rest could use More stuff substitute for time being.

Dang, those are the ones farthest from completion. I was working from the ground up, starting with spearmen, then swordsmen, etc.

This week I'm too booked with IRL stuff, so I won't get any work done. I have still been working slowly but surely, thanks for the patience.

Still hoping my boss lets me go back to my previous schedule, that would really help.

Here are description of non-standard goblin units.

HOBGOBLINS
The Hobgoblins Warband is a special goblin advanced polearm infantry unit. Goblins grow by absorbing the essence of other creatures, especially sentient ones, which makes them smarter and more social, evolving into hobgoblins. Hobgoblins are larger, with childlike yet more mature and practical behavior. While they enjoy fun, they are more responsible and take on tasks smaller goblins avoid, like gathering food, doing math, digging, and building. Outside the nest, in addition to fighting as warriors, hobgoblins can also do field work, such as building roads. Individually, they are generally friendlier and more helpful than other goblins, but they become more violent and aggressive when in groups.

GOBLIN WARBOSSES
The Goblin Warbosses warband is a special goblin elite melee infantry unit. Not all small goblins mature into responsible and helpful hobgoblins. Some absorb the essence of large, powerful creatures, growing bigger and becoming dominant goblins who bully smaller ones into submission. Known as Warbosses, these goblins are larger, more cunning, and ambitious, though often lazy, with an unquenchable thirst for power, influence, and violent entertainment. Their strength is measured by the number of henchmen they command, whom they treat as chess pieces in their most satisfying game of war. For Warbosses, the greatest joy is to conquer their enemies, pursue them, plunder their resources, and savor the anguish of their defeated foes.

GOBLIN SPIDER RIDERS
The Goblin Spider Riders warband is a special goblin basic melee mounted unit. Like children, goblins are fond of animals. Though their taste in pets is oddly innocent and often ignores safety, their skill in taming and domesticating animals is undeniable. Among the notable creatures domesticated by goblins are large venomous spiders, which they keep as pets and ride into battle. While smaller and weaker than the magical, Nature-touched Giant Spiders summoned and bound by wizards, these naturally occurring giant insects are still considered untamable by the standards of other races. How goblins manage this remains baffling and mysterious to all.

GOBLIN TRICKSTERS
The Goblin Tricksters warband is a special goblin specialist unit. There is nothing goblins enjoy more than pranks and dark humor-and, being goblins, these pranks are far from harmless. Hobgoblin tricksters take on the task of pranking enemies with traps and skillfully dodging attacks on the battlefield, entertaining younger goblins and their Warbosses alike while turning enemies into unwitting fools, their walls into pile of dirt, and their meticulously plans gone awry.

GOBLIN RUBBLEROUSERS
The Goblin Rubblerousers warband is a special goblin support unit. Goblins love mimicking other sentient races, spending time observing their behaviors, even if they only grasp bits and pieces. One of their favorite thing is imitating politicians giving rousing speeches or clergy preaching incite fanaticism, drawn more by the excitement and emotion they stir than by the message. Goblin rabblerousers harness this effect, delivering rousing speeches to incite fanaticism and provoke sacrificial, even violent, actions among their kin.

GOBLIN HEXERS
The Goblin Hexers warband is a special goblin lower rank magician unit. Goblins begin learning magic shortly after their progenitor spores descend from the great beyond to the twin planes. As they absorb the essence of magically sensitive creatures and mana-rich minerals, they gradually develop the ability to wield magic independently. While most goblins can’t muster enough magical strength to satisfy their desires, some do-and infuse it with their own unique style. Efficiency and effectiveness are not their priorities; instead, they aim to cause as much chaos, silliness, and agony as possible for their victims.

GOBLIN ARSONISTS
The Goblin Arsonists warband is a special goblin advanced melee infantry unit. Goblins love flames, delighting in watching things burn. Even those less inclined to destruction enjoy the warmth of a bonfire-some say it feels like the mother they never had. So, when goblins briefly got their hands on dwarven flamethrowers and Xuanyuan dragon shields, chaos ensued. Though the items were soon reclaimed, goblins began crafting crude flamethrowers from scraps, using them for everything from curing skin rashes to burning down cities. This innovation quickly spread through goblin nests, even reaching those across the sea who had never encountered dwarves or the Xuanyuan people.

NIGHT GOBLINS
The Night Goblins warband is a special goblin advanced missile infantry unit. Born from spores in dark caves, Night Goblins feel more at ease in darkness than in daylight. With superior night vision, they excel at hiding, lurking in shadows, and silently stalking enemies like their own shadows before finishing them off. Occasionally, they infiltrate the settlements of other races to observe their nighttime activities and eager to imitate them. However, as all goblins are biologically asexual, yet they have strong desire to mimic these night time dirty acts with other races anyway.

GOBLIN MECHANIACS
The Goblin Mechaniacs warband is a special goblin mechanical specialist unit. Goblins are a highly curious and inventive race, often lacking any sense of self-preservation in their pursuits. Among them, those with an intense passion for mechanics are known as Mechaniacs. They love tinkering with devices and have a knack for transforming scrap heaps into makeshift yet functional war machines that are as unsafe for themselves as for their enemies. Their reckless disregard for safety allows them to repair machines in the heat of battle, undeterred by enemy fire or personal risk.

GOBLIN PLAGUEBEARERS
The Goblin Plaguebearers warband is a special goblin specialist unit. Goblins, though unfamiliar with sanitation, love playing “doctor and patient” and are especially drawn to the idea of nurses. Plaguebearers emerged from their chaotic attempts to imitate patients and "cure" each other, with goblins competing to be the “sickest” to attract the most attention. Eventually, they discovered that their self-induced illnesses, though manageable for them, were devastating to other races-a fact they quickly weaponized.

DOOM WHEELS
The Doom Wheels squad is a special goblin mechanical mounted unit. The Doom Wheel is a motorized monowheel designed and operated by goblins. Armed with scythe-like blades, it hurtles forward at high speed, crushing everything in its path. Its engine uses volatile mixture of molten Quark and Crysx convert its energy into raw propulsion through intense agitation—a cutting-edge but perilous technology other races avoid due to its scorching radiation emissions, toxic gases, and high risk of explosion. Goblins constantly push these poorly crafted machines into overdrive, making the Doom Wheel a deadly hazard for both enemies and drivers alike.

GOBLIN GLIDERS
The Goblin Gliders squadron is a special goblin flying unit. Goblins are big dreamers with wild imaginations, so manned-flight has always been within their reach. As their nest's fungal network expands, making them progressively smarter, their attempts at flying become less far-fetched. From crude wings strapped to their arms and catapult-assisted launches to small, stable gliders that blend mechanical and magical features, goblin ingenuity has taken to the skies. Goblin Gliders soar along with bombs, each one uniquely decorated by its pilot. To pilot a glider is considered a great honor and a thrilling experience, one that most won’t get a second chance to enjoy.

MIDGET SUBMARINES
The Midget Submarines flotilla is a special goblin naval unit. Venturing where no one has gone before is always on a goblin's mind. From the darkest caves to the deepest blue abyss, nothing can curb their wild ambitions. To reach these depths, they created the Midget Submarine-a vessel controlled by a miniature goblin nest with its own fungal network, encased in a waterproof shell. Its operations are dependent on goblin biological features that can’t be replicated by other races. Besides exploration, Midget Submarines serve as effective underwater weapons, though their advantages disappear above the surface.

So how's about that for the Night Goblins? They were really fast to do since all I had to do was modify the Goblin Archer sprites.

Did a quick mock up of the Arsonists.

Again, the descriptions help. I thought that the arsonists were supposed to be throwing torches or something. But now I know that they were supposed to be using Chierosiphons/Flamethrowers. How do they look?

Okey dokey, thanks. I'll have to do the Arsonist from every angle and then animate it.

One more question, how did you want your goblins to dress? I currently am doing them in Warhammer/Generic-Fantasy/Medieval style clothing, but did you want yours to be different? I can't remember exactly what you said, but didn't you say "Warhammer meets Goblins Slayer" or something? I don't really watch anime, but aren't the goblins in goblin slayer cavemen or something, like loincloths and furs and stuff?

Well, thanks for the feedback. I've gotta go do some lifting while I still have the time before I gotta head out to work on someones vehicle. (And also replace a plumbing part for them if I have the time.) Anyone else do weightlifting here lol? Any tricks to get the bar off of the hooks easier? I'm benching 240 pounds now and it's really really really hard to get it off of the hooks lol.
