[PB 81] Yin-Yang transcontinental game

What's the plan for your opening and tech path? It's an interesting start for India because there's a fair few forests, but all but two are on hills (and give the fast worker no benefit).

Looking further out, what are your medium and long term goals? Are there wonders you are particularly interested in nailing down? Any particular plans for how to deal with your neighbors? Guesses at who your neighbors might be?

Sorry, but these days I am a little busy, and away from home.  Middle next week I will try to answer.

Here we go.  Barcelona has been founded.  A city on the NW of the Iberian peninsula at 150 km to the south of the Pyrenees and on the coast of the Mediterranean sea.  The oldest remains are from 7000 years ago in the Neolitic. Now it has around 2 million inhabitants although with the megalopolis around it has about 4 million people.
My plan is to make a boat to get the 5F of the fish, a warrior until 2pop, then a Worker, and then go for Stonehenge. I expect to get it for turn 30.  Then a Settler with a whip in T34 aprox.  In this game I will try to take profit of the bonus for Wonders from IND trait.
About the research I'll go for Hunting->Agri->Animal Hus ->Bronze
I expect to use the cows for keeping a high production in making Stonehenge.
I have no idea about my neightbors. Neither who will be in my continent.  The players were supposed to be placed in the two continents grouping by colors:  "greeners" and "redders". But I think most of them are really red.
Looking at the civis selected, only Superdeath has Mysticism. That makes no competitors to the first wonders (Stonehenge, Oracle, etc).  But this is not secure at all.

I think the previous time someone built Stonehenge before settler was Naufragar in PB54.

It's mostly a joke about how your thread title - "ying" is inaccurate. It's "yin" and "yang."

I don't know if I can comment much on your start plans having seen the map in great detail. But if you go with the Stonehenge play, I'll be very interested to see how it works.

Yes, you're right. Even, I hopping that in Spanish (my language) would be spelled in that way and no. "Yin Yang" is an international spelling.
Now I wonder about that asymmetry... another more in life!!!

The borders of Barcelona has grown and reveals gold on the east.  Also, the revealing of land by our Scout shows that we are in the West corner of the continent above the lower part of the map.
We start making a Warrior until growth of POP2  and change to a Worker.
After hunting we will go for Agriculture.
The demo screen shows that someone is producing more coins than us. We are working a tile with 2C , so might be someone is already working 2 tiles with coins?

All non-conditional modifiers show up in the demographics. This includes buildings (like forge, library etc) but also game mechanics like Known-Tech-Bonus (KTB) and pre-req (arrows). You are researching a tier 1 tech with no arrows (and no contacts) so don't any bonuses, but someone researching a tier 2 tech would get 1 or 2 arrows for 20 or 40% bonus.

Max population is still shown as 1K which means nobody has grown a size.
