Oh great.
This round is really killing my enjoyment of the game at the moment. I'll keep playing, but it feels like I've been going downhill since turn 150. Without me really recognising any mistakes in my game.
Of course the escalation with coldrain is partly my own fault, but conversely I don't want to know what a first strike by coldrain would have done.
Miro has now (without any competition) picked up all the wonders of religion (Sistine will surely be coming), plus Liberalism and now probably the Taj Mahal.
I need 4 turns to catch up.
As you can see, Nationalism was chosen.
______
So if Miro uses the GE, I have no chance of getting the Taj Mahal.
Otherwise, I'll have to do the maths on how fast Miro can be. - There's always the risk that Miro will realise that I'm following suit and can then use the GE later.
In general, I have to pause for a moment. What do I do now?
I think I'm losing my technological lead now. Miro's (

But I don't think Miro has gunpowder yet - or optics.
Steel and attack ? It will probably go as well as the war with coldrain, but I don't know if I should wait until Miro attacks me with infantry.
Maybe attack right away ?
_____
I think Miro is building the Taj Mahal in Cumae.
The Tah Mahal costs 700

Only possibility:

As already written, war is not too bad. I'm currently technologically superior, Miro lacks gunpowder and optics.
Sailing up the coast and raze the 3 wonder cities ?
Well, let's see how Miro reacts.
I have now cancelled all diplomatic relations and asked coldrain and Gira what they think of war. It may not have been very clever to cancel, as I'm of course hinting at an attack, but I want to be honest here. And the chariots (and ships) of Miro is shadowing my armies and fleets.
I should be uncontested for the economic merchant - I have enough surplus to research banking.
And if the Great Lighthouse had continued to be obsolete with Capitalism, I would only have needed one turn for Liberalism.
Unfortunately, razing Cumae against the Chokos will be difficult, they have 17
