[PB79] Giraflorens & Magic Science -- "Fear+Curiosity Gazpacho"

Miro's score decreased, so maybe the dogpile is succeeding, but Machine Guns will probably keep him safe for now. Machine Guns are too strong on defense.

smile for building Dikes. Dikes are an excellent UB, just very late in the game. The Dutch civilization pick is paying off now.

And do you have enough other Banks built to unlock Wall Street?

Yes, I do have enough banks to make Wall Street.  I wish I have a Great Engineer next turn to make it fast!!

In this turn Miro just destroyed one city of Xist.  I will show a picture next turn.

I see a Cho-Ko-Nu in that stack. Cho-Ko-Nus are still a useful UU much later in the game, like now. I think they can deal collateral damage to Machine Guns, but I will double-check that.

How big was that city of Xist? Was it important?

I like how Diomede is spectating the battle. lol.

The city taken to Xist was not very important. But it helped to keep the dominance over the coast.  Now, Miro has better position.

Yes, Diomede has a key situation.

In this turn we got a Great Engineer.  I will keep him to make the Wall Street in 3 or 4 turns.

I logged in to look around. I set some cities that just finished producing something else to make Wealth for now until you can decide.

I think that you should no use the Great Engineer to rush Wall Street. Building Wall Street in Juneau right away is a good idea, but don't use the Great Engineer for it.
Juneau can build Wall Street in 10 turns. The Great Engineer can build Wall Street in 1, so 9 turns saved.
9 turns * 83 gpt = 747 gold. So the Great Engineer would get 747 gold from having Wall Street sooner. But you would probably not be at 100% gold for all those turns, so it will be less.
I think that 747 gold or less is not enough, so you should save the Great Engineer for something else. Maybe bulbing for more than 1000 beakers, maybe for a 3rd Golden Age, maybe for a strong Modern Wonder even though you are behind in tech.

Also, you should build Ironworks somewhere soon. It is a strong National Wonder and there are a few good cities for it.

And think about the Environmentalism civic if the game goes that far. It has been buffed in CTH with +2 commerce on water tiles.

Lastly, I like that Savoonga now has 2 hammers on water tiles. lol. I never realized that Dikes and Moai Statues can stack.

Uf, there has been some messing up with PBSpy. Now is off and the Admin must restart it. I did not understand very well what happened, but we must wait...

By the way. The wars were finished. Everybody is at peace now, which are not good news for us. We are the weakest and anybody that feels like can do a fast whip on our empire. I need 2 more turns to have riffles, and at the moment only can make cannons and Grenadiers.

Did the other players make Peace Treaties or only Cease Fires? Cease Fires would be better for us, because they would not be totally safe to send their armies to attack us.

IDK,  I will check it out when I enter the game.

After the 1st Word War, Miro keeps his leadership and Coldrain has decreased a lot in points and Power.  Although he conserves all his cities.
I already have Riffling and now I go for Railroads.  The Wall Street in Juneau is taking an eternity.  Sometimes I think I should have used the GEngineer.  Might I loose some coins in the inversion, but I could have been using the coins now for speeding up the research.
I just put IronWorks to be made in Valdez. It is a very strong producing city.
