civ 6 "little league" game?

After a couple rounds of Civ 6 MP, I am feeling more interested in playing a game that doesn't feature the very high power level of the Leader Pass DLC civs (definitely no salt here, no sir). Would anyone else be interested in a game where only the "bad" civs are allowed to be taken for a spin? With some work beforehand to define what the bad civs are.

Yeah, I definitely feel this too. I posted in my thread that I'd like to explore some kind of balance mod for my next Civ6 game.

Not a signup because I'm about to go on a trip, but I hope we get more civ 6 games in general

As a certified Kongo enjoyer (not the OP DLC leader, she's literally pay to win lmao) I'm always game for trying a "bad" civs only game. Maybe have some lurkers roll up a stinker list?

Might be a bit busy with civ 7 once that releases in February tho. But playing a turn of civ 6 a day should be possible.

A balance mod is also something I'd be interested in making for RB, but when I tried posting hypothetical additions in my PBEM23 thread no one was biting, so this seemed more viable in the short term.

BBG exists, and as far as I remember was never explored on RB. It's balanced for online speed, of course, but gotta be an improvement over the base game for our games as well. Unless there are reasons not to use it

I'm interested in this, and would rather play Vanilla or with an existing balance mod rather than creating a new one.

BBG would kinda invalidate the variant, it is mostly a civ rebalance.

List of civilizations that are played fewest here at Realms Beyond PBEM's (maximum two games) which I don't consider strong.

France, Sweden, Spain, Poland, Scotland, Georgia, Canada, India, Kongo, Egypt.

Could we throw in some of the new civs that do not seem at a first glance to be that good either (eg, Vietnam)? Just so that no one is stuck with a roll of Canada + Sweden again

Canada should just be removed as it's the only civ in the game that hurts you.
