The symbols are nu (frequency) = c (lightspeed in vacuum) / lambda (wavelength).
Probably meant to be a reference to the timing of Scooter’s update relative to El Grillo’s post.

Ah, thanks, then I was tricked by the font, looked like a plain v. I had frequency as f but yeah, there was something with light and "nu", it's been a while.

Regarding that city: I imagine a medical heartbeat-frequency-monitor shortly before flatline.

My mistake not considering the ambiguous font and clarifying vee versus nu.

And yeah, it was supposed to be about Cornflakes' city and the deadly (game-deciding?) battle that was about to take place there.

It looks like Cornflakes will survive for now, but this format has suddenly become a lot quicker and bloodthirstier than anyone was expecting. And Cornflakes is already considering a 3 vs. 1 to bring down Scooter! I doubt that Commodore and Yuris will agree to it, but I like the idea of it.

It seems super ambitious to me for Cornflakes to try to organize a dogpile against Scooter when he’s the one that’s vulnerable to quick elimination. If he sends his armies toward Scooter, that leaves both his neighbors an opportunity against him, and from their perspective he’s asking them to leave their flanks open to him — that’s a situation ripe for betrayal. I can’t see it working out well for him. Instead he should be trying to work with his natural ally Scooter to make himself less vulnerable; worry about beating Scooter after survival, not before.

Ah AI diplo failing again. Commodore is willing to go to war with Scooter, but wants to make sure Cornflakes is on board.

I'll be honest, Commodore's reports are so brief that I'm not sure that he wants war with scooter. But the turn pace is so fast that we'll probably find out very soon.
