Yeah Domination is not a viable path for Commodore in any reality. A cross-map naval invasion of a large continent, then waiting for the cities to come out of revolt and expand borders? Even a slow estimate for Thoth's spaceship beats that easily, assuming the invasion even goes smoothly (and of course it wouldn't, even without the lack of native air defence it'd be time consuming and Thoth is sure to make it even more difficult).
And the stuff regarding Commodore attacking Thoth is just bizarre; "if Commodore thinks that Thoth needs slowing down, he needs to do it himself. If Commodore thinks that he's lost from this position, well, that's on him."
As if keeping him at war, constantly expending resources on coastal scouting + defence, and threatening extra naval forces against any invasion fleet isn't going to raise the cost? Is he just meant to gamble and hope Krill doesn't truly intend to intervene? A very weak justification at this stage of the game, especially since in the same post he admits thinking Commodore's victory is slower.
