Code & Description:
• Updates mod to support usage of Caster of Magic for Windows version 1.5.8.
• As part of the hardcoded update of Caster of Magic for Windows version 1.5.8, fantastic caster units could no longer able to access spell that could not cast by the Wizard.
• Script update to use “GOTO” command that support by version 1.5.8 instead of “CALL” in place that not using “RETURN” command.
• Move budding clone script from UnitCalcPre.cas to COSpell.cas.
• Changes usage of detecting coordinate to base value instead of current value.
• Script now using Overland version of Chaos Channels enchantment instead of base version.
• Unit enchantment slots rearranged and organized to for more efficient use of resource, this makes this version break all old saves.
• Due to custom spell animation is bug in version 1.5.8 some spell would get animation change to use generic animation for time being.
• Due to reorganization of custom attributes and their change on units.ini, this makes makes this version break all old saves.
• Help text is improved with help from Onyx Scarub.
Units:
• Warboss’s Goblin Horde ability now capped at +20%.
• Air Ship Scout Range change from 2 to 3.
• Saints Scout Range change from 2 to 3.
• Draconian Monks Scout Range change from 2 to 3.
• Inquisitors’ Spell Charge change from Exorcism to Zeal.
• Bug Fix: Jungle Stalkers don’t deal Doom damage.
• Sea Serpent race changes to Sorcery.
• Warboss’s figure is reduced to 1, cost increases to 240, To-Defend increases to 30%, HP increases to 10, Upkeep increases to 10, and now requires Warlord’s Hold and Bank as requirement.
• Tricksters’ Thrown reduces to 3 and defense reduces to 7.
• Hexers Range Attack reduces to 3 and its spell charge reduces to 2.
• Arsonists nolonger causing fear.
• Poxbearers Melee reduces to 4 and nolonger deal Doom damage.
Spells:
• All 5 magic realms get 2 new rare spells castable by the wizard.
• Teleport changes to Planewalking and castable both in combat and overland by the wizard with new additional effect of unit gains planeshifting ability.
• Divine Protection is now castable by the wizard.
• Eye of Heaven is now castable by the wizard.
• Freezing Rain is now become rare level spell and castable by the wizard.
• New Rare Chaos Spell: Blood and Iron for Chaos realm, buff home race and chaos channeled unit while put debuff on all other non-chaos channeled normal units.
• Corrosive Blast animation is temporary change to animation of old Disrupt.
• New Rare Nature Spell: Ice Comet, deal cold damage to all figures in the target and then freezing unit surrounding it.
• New Rare Chaos Spell: Incinderate, deal fire damage to the target and surrounding units.
• New Rare Death Spell: Arch Liches, summons Arch Liches to so serve the wizard overland.
• New Rare Death Spell: Necropolis, enchanted city no longer suffer from unrest but could nolonger growth and unit trained here would become undead.
• Sea Serpent ability now change to Rare Sorcery Spell and castable by the Wizard.
• Drought is now also mitigate racial growth bonus too.
Items:
• Eye of Storm now give aura visual effect to hero.
Retort:
• As part of the hardcoded update of Caster of Magic for Windows version 1.5.8, Benefactor retort is now guaranteeing an additional hero level for hero that offer themselves for hire.
City:
• Removes unit enchantments that grant permanent effect or not useful from table grant by Witches’s Convent and reduce random range so that it is more likely to get unit enchantment with some degree of usefulness.
• Goblin Tax avoidance now merge into base tax income to reduce display bug.
• Town Hall is now renames to City Hall.
• Warlord’s Hold is now requires Tree of Knowledge
