Nakor and The Reverend each have discovered a tech, which is most likely fishing...haven't had any time to look at demogs yet, but I've got screenies of them from every turn so far. It might be a couple weeks before I get that kind of time but I'm hoping it's sooner than later.

K so I had 20 minutes to look through my demographic screenhots.

I have 3 people researching hunting so far:

The Reverend Doctor
Nakor
SevenSpirits

I think Jowy is teching BW to start...and somebody (a CRE civ, so Nakor or the rev) is now teching something with a pre-req (probably a 2nd person is on BW).

For whatever reason somebody started with an extra land tile in their BFC and given that we all have the same plains/forest/deer I thought we all had mirrored capitals. Either we don't or there was a slight goof. No big deal anyways. The only thing I'm going to really try to keep track of is techs and power...

So far I'm pretty sure I've got it all correct.

Well I might have some time to go through the demogs again today. There's really only 2 things that have happened since the last time.

Jowy has gotten Hunting but he delayed it by a couple turns to make it look like either The Wheel or Agriculture. And somebody has completed a warrior.

I'm on BW right now and at the most recent EOT, my worker has completed so tonight or tomorrow I get to do not only move but select another build. That'll be like 5 or 6 clicks rather than 1, Yay!!!

Well,

I've had a chance to go through some demogs.

Everybody researched Hunting as their first tech while working the plains/forest/deer tile that we all seem to have. Jowy however delayed his discovery of Hunting by a couple turns to make it look like something else. The couple of turns he was researching something else was definitely something with a pre-req. So that means 1 of either Saling/Masonry/BW. I'll go with BW for now.

The interesting thing is 2 civ's have since switched over to working their desert oasis tile. For the life of me I can't figure out why anybody would want to. I'm pretty sure everybody went worker first so it delays your worker to increase your teching but at this point in the game you need it the other way around right?

Anyways I'll figure out who exactly gets what as points go up but I'm going on record as saying I don't understand the logic to work a 3/0/2 tile when a 2/2/0 tile is available, especially when building a worker.

Well another interesting little tidbit...I'm on a damn island. I just noticed through tile bleed this turn (#13). Definitely not conducive to a fast start expansion wise...so...I've still got a ways to go on BW but after that I might very well head directly for sailing. My worker has started to camp the deer, I'll have a Workboat complete right after I hit size 2. I think this is probably the best way to go at the moment.

As for what to do with that barb city...I think I'm going to end up leaving it there for a while and farming it...It's not that great of a location that I need it straight away. Sure there's lots of food there but most of it is water based, requiring lots of hammers to take advantage of. There's not a lot of production base at that city and so it would tie my capital up on WB's when I need it producing everything else. The Reverend and Nakor have both discovered techs recently. I'm inclined to believe one of them might have gone for Archery. I need to look closely over the last few turns to see.

Personally if they went for Archery all the better for me. Even on raging barbs, they don't go into your borders until roughly T35. Gives me more than enough time to build a couple of warriors. Hopefully I will have copper though . If I have copper it's kind of a blessing and a hinderance. I will lose the ability make warriors but I will also be able to avoid Archery and delay AH.

Oh and I think one of either The Reverend or Nakor are on to Pottery right now, probably Nakor...
