I think you are just talking to yourself at this point.
Why is China our enemy for having minor border skirmishes that we need to take action on, while Israel is our ally having just invaded multiple counties and committed genocide?
Still
What is that everything China has taken and how?
Stay focus!

I think you keep talking to me . And as you keep not responding to my points when you do it and keep saying things like this instead or responding in a logical manner, the only conclusion is I'm winning a pointless internet argument!
Again you are distracting from UKRAINE. The topic of conversation is UKRAINE. That being said I've said it before but geopolitically I don't like our involvement with Israel (morally we are on the same page). Being involved with Israel is a huge black eye geopolitically. Again your China question is a 100% a distraction. Its not like you are unaware of what they've done AND there current multiple land / sea areas they want. So again, morally it doesn't matter what we've done, they shouldn't' t do less, similar, or more (no point arguing where they are on the spectrum, but in general this is the tu quo que fallacy so we can firmly say from a moral standpoint they shouldn't). From a geopolitical argument its in our interest to have more allies and not let currently rival nations just take stuff they want. Which ties back to Ukraine. You know the "focus" that you haven't mentioned in a while. All my points I've countered on have slowly been dropped and now we are on solely China. Again. To try to keep "focus" please respond to the bolded and underlined portion above in an only geopolitical argument where you don't try to distract by saying "America bad".

I didn't say anything about Ukraine except that we are negotiating with Russia without Ukraine. FACTS. I made no judgment. It is you who is trying to steer the conversation to what you conceive as right or wrong, or if it makes sense to you. Guess what, we have proven over the last year what makes sense to you is complete non sense

You are the one who say we need to take action against China. I am really clueless to what is that everything China has taken and how? Please please explain. Would be much easier to do than the thousands of words you have used to avoid answering.

There you go with your fallacy bullshit again

You are arguing with yourself. I said we are negotiating with Russia without Ukraine. And we will let them know how it's going. I made no judgement or whether or not it's right or wrong. You were arguing with yourself.

I tell you what. Which side do you want me to take, that it is a good thing, or, that is a bad thing. I will make a statement how America is bad or how America is good. I can go either way.

Yes, you are the one who say we need to take action against China. I am really clueless to what is that everything China has taken and how?
So, to sum up:

That was a long way of saying "I'm not going to answer your question". Lot of distraction there. Got some good ad hominems in (again only surprised it took this long as you seem to resort to every argument).
I would like a geopolitical answer on why its in our interest to have fewer allies / to current adversaries take what they want. That is what I want. My side of the argument is we should strengthen our alliances and not let countries take what they want / reward them for it. Focus on Ukraine and NATO. Think you can stay on topic?

I do think it's important to start with why Ukraine is important to US interests. The answer is...it's not. Russia is not a threat to Europe in any real sense and they certainly aren't a threat to the US, however awful they are. So the reason to support Ukraine is the moral one.
The Biden strategy was akin to seeing a bully beating up a kid on the playground, and handing him a whiffle ball bat and wishing him good luck. The Trump strategy is shaping up to holding the kid down so the bully can finish him faster.
Playing armchair President, I would not be willing to put boots on the ground, but I WOULD institute a no fly zone over Ukrainian territory (similar to the one NATO put over Bosnia and Herzegovina) and give them all the advanced weaponry at our disposal. Elon is scared of the nukes, but Putin is evil, not mad. Unless we entered Russian territory he wasn't going to play that card. Maybe you exclude Crimea from the no-fly zone in an abundance of caution.

They are a threat to anyone in Europe NOT part of NATO. Our NATO allies also greatly care about sending a message Russia can't just take what it wants. I'm a big believer in alliances.

Next time I'm at the pub (so basically tonight) I'll ask around and see if any Irish are worried about Russia .

Still flinging your fallacy bullshit around like a master.
Quote:For all our faults they think we are the lesser of evils
So this election with Trump's landslide victory proves Trump is the lesser evil comparing to bloody jo! Yay, I am right and you are wrong even with your funky math.
Invading and raping a country, committing multiple war crimes, such as in the Philippines, and using nuclear weapons to force submission is NOT THE LESSER EVIL! it is the very definition of EVIL

Straw Man and Red herring, a diversionary tactic that avoids addressing the original argument by introducing an irrelevant issue or idea. I have said Trump did this and that but I have not said why its in our interest to have fewer allies. This is the same dirty tactic you use in every post, going off on a tangent then insists people join in YOUR NARRATIVE. I didn't say why its in our interest to have fewer allies, that is you talking to yourself. I have no obligation to answer your red herring in this conversation.
The Topic Is, US and Russia Is having A Peace Talk Without Ukraine And EU.
But, I know it eats at you that Trump won the election by a LANDSLIDE so you have to try everything and turned more radical. Let it go dude, bitterness shortens life.
Amazing how you went around the block with all my effort to keep you from going off on the straight and narrow. Every time your points get busted you move the goal post. REALLY SLIPPERY. just like:
Spending thousands of words posts after posts to avoid answering questions you started.
Explain what is that everything China has taken and how?
And no, not with a photo of a Xinjian concentration camp posted as a concentration camp in Tibet
I wonder how many people caught on
Got to love my signature " Free Tibet - Wherever The Fuck That Is"

Realistically the only threat posed by Russia to European countries are in places like Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Georgia. Ask the average American how much they care about the well being of Lithuanians and you will get a well justified blank stare.

You literally said we should abandon our allies so Russia wasn't forced to be so close to China. That is what I am referencing and been disagreeing with. And you can't call me on straw men and red herrings and then post a million different tangents. Its no wonder you couldn't even remember what the conversation was about.
@ Greenline / others - I feel like I need to do a full post on why alliances are good. I am sick today, but I think its a topic worth discussing.
