OK, thanks for nudging me there Selrahc. I was thinking that to kick things off we'd want something relatively straightforward, but still fun. For that reason I think we should start with a non-real time game (PBEM-stylee) and a medium-light game.

I suggest we play Stone Age at yucata.de. Stone Age is a fantastic game, one of my favourites, but it's not all that complicated and is a great introduction to a genre of boardgames known as worker-placement games. The rules are here. I haven't played this game online before, but I can't imagine it would be that tricky.

If this goes well, I would probably be up for a board game, especially PBEM style. Do any of the sites offer Power Grid, for those of us who play good board games regularly? Or with this group, maybe Shadows Over Camelot would work better....
