Oh, by the way, since this isn't an RB sanctioned event (as far as I know), that should mean mods like BUG are legal. I plan to use BUG for this game, since it makes it a lot easier to gather information--because it removes the "gather" part. Just throwing that out there.

It'd be RB sanctioned as far as putting the RB name on it and listing it (eventually) in the list of SGs here. If the event doesn't have a competitive nature for BUG to spoil, it's fine.

However, you would want to make sure everybody on the team is OK with it. Are saves fully cross compatible with an unmodded game these days, or does BUG still have problems with losing the event log and some screens misfunctioning?

True, everyone should consent to its use. I am not fully knowledgeable about the workings of BUG, but I use it as a... whatsit, in the Not-Mod form (custom assets?), so I don't have compatibility issues.

Ahoy, seeing as you guys already have six players, I would be happy to serve as a replacement player, if you need one. I've only recently upped to Monarch [first game started earlier today, coincidentally], so I fit pretty well with the difficulty.

I am happy with these settings and my vote goes towards turning events off. I personally don't use the BUG mod but I am happy if others really want to. As Whosit mentioned, if the mod can be loaded from your custom assets/mod folder rather than be integrated with the save file I would appreciate that.

@Tatan - Thanks for volunteering to be a replacement player, and I am happy you will be lurking the thread!

As we now have 3 votes for Events being off, I will turn them off for this game.

I believe I have BUG in the custom assets folder but I'll send a test save around to check it out to make sure.

I will now set up the thread here (mods can move it if its better somewhere else) and post the start choices sometime today. Do not post until I ask for people to check in so I can reserve the first few posts for later on.
