You only get the bottom half, ie the points for the end of the game.

Just to make sure it's clear, the number in the green circle is how much food you have. So Sciz and Amelia will have to go hunting this turn to be able to feed their families. Also, Sunrise is growing to 7-pop and only has 2 fields ploughed, so will have to hunt as well for at least 1 food.

The 2nd card this turn gives points equal to fields and a stone. The 3rd card give points equal to the number of people you have and a stone. The most expensive one gives 2 x number of tools of points and gives you a 2-power tool to use that is a 1-off thing - you can use it only once.

One of the strange things about Stone Age is that most of the points are scored at the end (from the cards), so no one really knows who is winning until the game ends.

That's not all that strange for Eurogames. Puerto Rico comes to mind.

Remember: The game ends when either you cannot fill up the row of cards or when one of the stacks of huts is finished, so there will probably only be one more turn after the current turn.
