Heroes

I propose that we put some pictures in our posts.

That would make it easier to search back and quickly find what you want.
Especially the top post should have a lot of pictures, since that makes it much easier to get a sense of what is intended.

Right now I feel disoriented each time I look at the Basic Units table. the Racial Units table, or the Racial Changes: Units table.
They look so alike! I keep confusing them.

I'm fine with move 2 for heroes - it's closer to the idea to keep heroes more for support.
The reason I mentioned 2 1/2 is that it seems a bit strange that a unit with a horse is just as fast as a foot unit. But then, there is no real reason why a hero must sit on a horse - they can't help it, they're just drawn that way!

I like the changes in item slots and I'm eager to try them out.
It will no doubt have some impact on the relative strengths of the heroes, but it's fun to find out.

I'm assuming there is a reason to make it level up 1 every 3 levels.
If we restore it to 1 every 2 levels I suspect it becomes to powerful later on.
But we might change Leadership itself anyway.
How about making it level up just one level earlier?

I really, really want to increase the rate at which heroes gain levels. If you do that, leadership would become more powerful without any other changes.

Well, that one is really easy. Feel free to make changes in the XP thread, it's certainly an option.

Gave the thief armour piercing instead of first strike.

Updating the hero table, going to flesh out all heroes with new abilities. Please make suggestions!
