[SPOILERS] Athlete and Lewwyn are SHAKA OF THE VIKINGS

EOT 64 update.

Animal Husbandry has been discovered at EOT.

Sheep at capital have been roaded by John A. MacDonald and Pierre Trudeau is slowly working his way down to the sheep at Halifax. He shall be ready when Halifax comes out of resistance.

Grant Fuhr and Patrick Roy defended excellently and Grant has now reached the 10XP level. More barbs are still incoming but a few turns away. Marty McSorley killed the one barb guarding a hut and popped a scout who moved 1S and didn't see much of anything. Horses were revealed right around that area. Pictures to come sometime more convenient for me.

Rick Hansen should pop a hut next turn if The Reverend is to be believed. I've currently no reason not to. Nakor has jumped in score with founding his 4th city and somebody has discovered Monotheism (maybe him?).

Charlottetown has been reworked slightly on to hammers to grow in 2 while producing an axe in 1. The Axe is at 33/35 so I'll overflow onto a worker while my whip anger wears off. Once at size 6 I'll triple whip a settler which will probably be bound for somewhere around Marty McSorley.

Fredricton has grown to size 2 and has a barracks due in 2 while working 2 grass forests. Growth in 7. Once the rax is complete it shall whip a worker and finally start getting improved.

That's about it for now.

Why not switch to worker immediately, and finish the rax when growing back from the whip?

Thanks for the frequent updates.
I have to run.

NP Novice. Thanks for the idea. I can't think of a good reason not to do that. I personally don't like leaving something in the queue but that's pretty dumb of a reason not to start the worker straight away (or a turn late in my case)!

An Axe just completed here, soon to be named Bobby Clarke. If you don't know why check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOMJsJhHlyM
T66 I'll start a worker while getting off the furs for a turn onto the fish. T67 the worker should complete at 60/60. I'll probably then put one turn into a monastery to grow to size 6 and then triple whip a settler.

EOT65 Barbarian Overview:

All barbs that have a # on their tile have Combat I promotion except one of the 2 where I put the pink dot. Also notice Rick Hansen popped a hut on the west coast that gave me 39 gold. Better than a map I guess.

As of EOT66:

The 3 groups of barbarian warriors close to Marty McSorley all moved NE. Marty then moved NW and whacked the barb that was solo on the grass hill. The warrior that was 2NW of Fredricton moved 1SE putting it next to the city.

On the interturn of T66 and T67 the warrior (injured one) that was 1NW of Fredricton suicided against Grant Fuhr along with one that was on the rice tile. The other warrior on the rice tile attacked Marty McSorley and died. Another round of movements and an attack by Marty followed. A bit complicated w/o pics but I don't have time for any right now. As of my EOT67 here is where I stand.

Fredricton has 2 Combat I Barb Warriors 1S of it. Marty McSorley is 1SW of those 2 slightly injured (3.5/5 I think) with Combat II and Shock. There is an unpromoted Barb Warrior 1NW of Marty. My scout has found 4 more barb warriors all Combat I so I expect my scout to die this interturn.

Bobby Clarke was loaded up onto a galley and taken to investigate the island to Charlottetown's NE. He popped a hut for 49 gold. My scouting down the eastern coast stopped and that galley is on it's way back to load up workers to take to the mainland and start improving fredricton. This delays meeting Seven but I see no real need to do so yet.

Halifax is now out of resistance and the sheep has started to be pasturized. It will whip a granary next turn followed by a workboat which will most likely be whipped.

Sent out an e-mail to each of Jowy, The Rev and Nakor just saying hi and stuff...trying to coax some of their thoughts out of them.

Here's an update as of EOT68:

I've just killed 3 more warriors and one killed my scout that had been popped from a hut by Marty McSorley earlier. I know there's atleast 4 barb warriors in the fog somewhere to the SW of Marty and there's 1 incoming from the barb city to Fredricton's NW.

A pic of my eastern island:

I believe I will place my city 1N of where Bobby Clarke is on this island. Not a current priority though.

Inside Charlottetown:
I've just grown to size 6 at EOT. T67 I worked the Sheep, Clams, Oasis, Deer and Cottage. This turn I'll work the Sheep, Clams, Deer, Copper, Furs and a grass/hill/mine which will put me at 31/32 in the food bar while building a monastery. I will then start a settler and after 2 turns it should be 38 or 39/100 which I will then triple whip. Once it's out and about I'll revolt to Buddhism and grow back to size 6 asap. I can't see me whipping my capital after that any time soon.

This particular settler is going to found on the coast of the mainland to the south of Fredricton. It should collect a fish, gold, stone and horse.

Diplo Update.

I received an e-mail back from everybody. The gist of it is everybody knows Jowy will attack somebody. Jowy might be thinking of enlisting me to help at some point. The Rev is looking to expand peacefully while that goes on. I'm looking to avoid conflict for atleast the next 40 turns or so...

T69 has been played and nothing out of the ordinary happened. I whipped Fredricton's worker, overflow will go on the barracks and what's left will then go into a monastery. John A. Mackenzie boarded the galley which then moved and Alexander Mackenzie has landed so both him and the new worker will will start a farm straight away on T70 while John A. Mackenzie lands. T71 John A. Mackenzie will start to quarry the marble.

With the granary complete, I've started a workboat in Halifax which I shall whip on T70 and overflow onto another before starting a Trading Post.

T70 I'll start a settler in Charlottetown which should be triple-whipped on T72.

I've been putting my thoughts together for the Oracle and while I could definitely get it sooner I think I'm going to try and wait to slingshot Machinery. Right now I believe that will be about T84 but I think I'm going to be able to do better than that. If I get beaten to it the only thing anybody will take is Metal Casting which I should have shortly after them anyways. I suppose Seven could attempt for Theology but I don't see much benefit in an early Theocracy. At least not to him. Somebody else might be able to get Code of Laws but I really don't think anybody else is trying for The Oracle right now so...I think I've got a good shot at it.

So...getting back into the swing of things:

Here's Rick Hansen out and about at EOT 71:

Charlottetown at EOT71:
On T72 I will have the settler at 39/100 Hammers so I will triple whip and work the Deer, Sheep and Crabs. That should make me 129/100 with 13 more to come in giving me 42 hammers of overflow. I'm also at 31/32 in the food box so I should immediately grow back to size 4 for T73. T73 I move onto the monastery working the Sheep, Crabs, Deer and Grass/Cottage while at 18/28 in the food bar. So at EOT 73 my Monastery should complete with 1H of overflow, I should be at 14/30 food at size 5 (only 1 complete turn after triple whipping from size 6 yikes) Oh and my cottage should finally turn into a Hamlet YaY!

And here's an overview of EOT 71:
As you can see I'm completely barb free at the moment (knock on wood now!). Marty killed 3 barbs and Grant one to clean them up. With the barb city now gone (sadly fallen to Babylon) I should be pretty worry free from barbs. Having 3 bowmen nearby isn't fun but I don't think he's going to get frisky with them so I think I'm OK. I've also sought to bring Hextall over to the mainland and sent Patrick Roy back to guard Halifax.

2 workers by Fredricton will move to quarry the marble while the other moves SW to chop and then farm. I'll also probably bring Trudeau over from Halifax to work on the mainland and when Halifax hits size 3 have it slow build a worker. The workboat it is currently on will be for Montreal when it gets founded (T75). It will be a couple turns late for it but not too bad I think.
