Mods: Have you played any?

anybody try any of the game's mods or dl'ed any from the web? if so, got any comments or recommendations??

I played the fast food mod. Pretty funny one.

I use a few non-gameplay altering mods:

The Tan Interface.
The Customisable Domestic Advisor.
Sevo's Civilopedia.
Enhanced Military Advisor.
(All available for d/l at CFC)

The tan interface i use for its aesthetic value, i didnt care much for the blue interface, the others just, in my opinion, improve the way the game information is presented to the player.

I dont use game altering mods because i think it would feel like cheating, besides which i think the game is good enough to stand up on its own with out having to add more civs, or more units.

Just Blue Marble - it's sexier, although I always end up failing to treat plains properly because they look so fertile

Just finished playing the American Revolution Mod that came with the game. Quite fun (except for those Uber British Ships of the Line), and the historical pop-ups were neat.
