Oh my, i can't believed i missed that plains rice lol. I even jungled it ><

About grassland Wheat, isn't that normal? I thought i've seen Grassland Wheat before ><

Also, i made a mistake, and thus they declare war on each other from the start. I forgot to tell them that though.

I've seen grassland Wheat before too... In PBEM9 where Jowy made the same mistake. lol I think Tatan did it too with the rainforest map he designed that didn't get played out all the way. Pretty sure the generator doesn't normally do that though.

Well that's still less oddities than on pbem9 lol

Well, i started a huge map pangaea, regenerated about 4 maps, with a total of 20 wheat. All were plains. Oops :neenernee

Edit: Just tested, the top area does support naval combat.

So what did you guys think about TT's 25% luck? That was really a crazy risk that paid off, especially with resourceless spears ><

Also, TT believes there's only one pass, that's wrong so far :P

I'm stunned that he would throw the whole game onto one 25% dice roll.

I am not accusing or anything, but it does raise the question of whether he was thinking about reloading if the 25% roll failed. I don't know anything about PBEM mechanics - does Civ try to prevent that at all? I know it screws up if you end a turn and then replay it, but can you reload the original save and replay the whole turn if you don't generate the outgoing save?

I have complete faith in TT's honesty.

I think it's technically possible to replay the turn as many times as you like. So you can try all the various permutations of RNG-dependent actions (or skip them) to get the ideal outcome of your turn.

So an additional reason not to take 25% risks is that if they succeed, people will get suspicious... Although a less conspicuous way of cheating would be to replay turns to avoid bad beats.
I have to run.

Yes you can replay the turn an infinite amount of times as novice stated. This is known as save scumming, and it's the one major drawback for pbem. Also, if a save gets generated you simply have to delete it in order to be able to replay it (it's just a bug where pbem cant handle overwritten saves).

This is why I was skeptical with mackoti at first until he (and TT) verified that there was only one warrior.

If you feel that you only have less than a 25% chance of winning against an opponent, would you risk a 25% battle to try and gain a large advantage in a single game? lol

I've once played a duel against someone who sent his only Warrior guarding his capital against my Aggressive warrior who was camping his Corn... And he defeated it...
This was in a LAN game, so no reloading was involved; I had defeated the guy in about 2 games earlier, and he said he took the gamble because he needed the advantage against a more skilled player.

EDIT: Just to clarify: I'm not saying that Twinkletoes did if for that reason, though.
