We start another game,iTs turn 19, and as you see in screenshot TT has a warior near my cap, warior will be finished in time.Ye that warior is woody 2, so very dangerous , you may ask how he did get that: he atacked my warior on hill at some 25% ods near his teritory, and he won( i never done something like that and i played quite a few duels).
I belive i had a better opening but with this luck and bad play (ye i was near his capitol and no other warior to back up), he is now in advantaje.
Ok i very frustated about this start i i think is not fair like game to reward bad playing.
Lets see what i can do to remove that threat( i am 2 turns of bw), and i can already bulid chariots.
Sorry about ranting.

Did he have a second warrior nearby? If so, I'd actually disagree with your comment that he made a bad move... If he had two warriors, he has:

-25% chance of a lucky kill, giving a promotion
-75% chance of losing with the first, then killing with the second warrior

This means a 100% chance of killing your warrior, worst case would be trading a warrior for a warrior in his land, which is a no-brainer, since your warrior in his land is much more dangerous/valuable than his warrior in his own land, if you follow all that. Plus his second warrior still gets XP from that kill, added with the benefits of not being worried about your warrior pillaging/choking.

So I'd actually do the same if I was him... Unless there was no way at all he had a second unit nearby - either adjacent, two tiles with road, about to finish in his city, etc... If that was the case, then yeah, it was a bad decision... But if he had a second unit in striking range (maybe two tiles away with a road), then I actually think he made the right call.

He had no warior in striking range and no road he did'nt had whell yet, i think he didn't any military at all it was turn 8 i think, and he got not just a ppromotion but 2 from that batlle so.. perhaps toy understand my''rage''.

That can't be right... Clearly there's a non-zero chance of Mackoti's warrior surviving the first battle with enough health to survive or discourage a second attack.
I have to run.

Yeee, that warrior is no more a chariot took care about that menace. And a setler was finished i had a very hard time chosing where to settle, and i will go
for the corn, horses spot you may ask why? iTs very easy, we are imperilist and a mined hill is 6 for production of setler and why agai?
Because that city has avery strong production, and i am thinking to do ther or my heroic epic, or producing some shine wonders.
I dont know how to put sign on the map so i want heplp...
Another thing , looks like there is no cooper on this map, so i will go for iron work, hope that one will apear in a near place.
And after that i think potery and straight for priesthood and oracle, because I've
read TT spoiler, and seem he has a thing with oracling Feudalism(i read before we start this game, no panick there), and I am sure thats cant be happening.
Fast vasalage and longbows, is just sick.

Well in that case then yes, I'd be pretty frustrated too lol. And yeah I over simplified a bit - novice is correct. I still defend the idea of attacking if you have a second warrior, but from reading this (haven't seen TT's thread yet so no knowledge on my part) it sounds like that was not the case.
