b0rsuk suggested that Valana might be a halfling. Should we change her class to Halfling? I already gave her Lucky, and Leadership + minor spell ability sounds quite halflingy to me.

Does the race of a hero have any effect in the game?
I think it's only a thing of flavour.
Almost all heroes are high men now, I'd change at least Warrax to dark elf or to chaos creature.
Malleus could be a chaos creature I think?

Oh yeah, flavour only. It just always bothered me how there were so many High Men heroes :P

Warrax is a beastman IMO, and Malleus could be a fallen High Elf? Fat and crazy High Elf, at that :P

I'd like to think that mages can become corrupted by their magic, or simply develop such a high affinity with their magic, they become one with it. Or maybe someone like Malleus has an obscure background where chaos magic was involved.
EDIT: And the necromancer (lich-like) is a typical death creature.
