Replacement needed for PBEM8

We need a replacement player for PBEM8 since Meatbalz had to resign from Willem of Maya. It is 5 man Always War game without any diplo. Meatbalz's civ is overall in the middle of the pack. However I think it still has potential to close the gap to leaders. No tech trading and closely packed civs.

Since there is no diplo involved, I think slightly spoiled player would be alright, but actual players should comment this. Let us know in the PBEM8 IT thread if you're interested.

I think the no diplo and always war make slightly spoiled actually more of an issue than usual, as the usual spread of info for the players isn't there. It would obviously depend on the specific circumstances of how spoiled they are (and obviously any replacement is better than no replacement), but because of the lack of information spreading due to no diplo, it means that the chances of the spoiler info being common knowledge among the players is much less.

Obvivously unspoiled is best solution and I'm not saying that a lurker that has closely followed the spoiler threads would be suitable and you have a right for veto concenring the player entering the game.

However, if someone has in the beginning taken a look at map thread and stopped following the spoiler threads ages ago he should be pretty good to go.

I can log in using administrator password. I had to try, if I can change the password for Meatbalz. Does anybody know for certain, if this will work?

Of course it would be easiest, if Meatbalz delivers you the password and latest save, but I don't know, if he is actively following the forum at the moment. As a backup: Ad hoc could you send the latest save to me so that I can check, if I can change the password for Meatbalz.

Just checked and I can change the password alright with Admin password so I only need the latest save from either Meatbalz or Ad hoc.

It seems Mackoti is also intrested in taking control over the nation, but he is slightly spoiled. Rego are you unspoiled?

I think that I am unspoiled. I looked a bit at meatbalz thread and I think that from what I saw, I have not followed that game. I did remember the original FP grass pig start, but it looks like you guys are on a completely different game now, right?

Yes. Game was restarted and has partially new players and new map.
