Anyone have the v1.52 patch?

I discovered that a v1.52 patch has been released.  Unfortunately it is packaged in an installer that refuses to run on my system.  Anyone have the files in a .ZIP I can just put into my MoM directory, like the v1.4 and v1.5 patches?

I attempted assembling a 1.40n style zip. Let me know if it works and if anyone has problems with it being distributed this way.

I'm inclined to say "please, don't do that..." But I've got a bone to pick right now, so how about instead I say:

Hmm, those appear to be a bunch of bug reports. Does anyone have the .ZIP with the files that can overlay a fresh v1.31 installation, like all the other MoM variants?

That's a bit disappointing. I don't suppose you're willing to do some legwork? You wrote elsewhere that you've been using 1.4n, which suggests that you're running the game directly through DOSBox. It follows then that you should be able to run a DOSBox console just fine, and therefore use seravy's FILESET tool. The first two of those links contain bug reports, yes, but they also contain short patch snippets of a fix that you can copy into a text file and apply with that tool, which is a 16 bit DOS executable that runs in DOSBox (type FILESET <target file> <patch file> with all of them in the same folder). The second two links are feature patches from the next update. There will be no overlay version of those unless someone was following them and applying them separately, since they are not live yet. You may need to do some reading and clicking there to figure out what goes where.

Uh...no. I just would like a .ZIP with the files in it that I can unzip and overwrite a fresh v1.31 installation. Much like v1.4 is installed. Anyone have this?

I hate to admit that I do, because I'm not at liberty to share. The best I can do is wish you good luck in your endeavour! In any case, I believe Anskiy's download link has been up long enough for you to grab what's been offered? I would like to kindly request its removal now, if possible.

The problem is the Community Patch(1.52 and onward) is Slitherine's property. They can't just distribute the working patch on their own.

Man, my name is in the friggin' credits. Removing the patch from circulation wasn't my call, but I can understand and respect it. If I ever have that kind of time I'll write a patcher that doesn't contain any of the original files or code, and then nobody can say anything. But in the meantime, by principle, I have to uphold the decision, and not endorse going against it.
