City naming theme. Well, last time I played the Aztecs I was playing a lot of Rimworld and named my cities after my colonists. As it happens, I am once again playing a lot of Rimworld, so why not change a good thing, and go back to that naming theme, but go one step further.
In my current Rimworld game my faction is called the Northwest Tofenhioum (randomly generated by the game since I am actually terrible at coming up with names for stuff like that) and the current leader of the faction is Baroness Isla. So I'll change my civ and leader names to that, and then go with everyone else for my cities, with the capital being Isla's husband Steven, followed by:
Sappy
Larusa
Olivia
Misan
Monkey
Bear
Gabby
Paige
Garo
Mai
Fausto
Xigocur
Ambrolecam
Irgo
Barbara (D)
Paulo (D)
Gunner (dog, D)
edit: can't change leader name so I'll just use Isla for the cap

Your first Civ choice: Aztec
Your first leader choices: Churchill, Suleiman
Starting screenshots will be posted in a couple days. You may wait to finalize a choice until then. You may reject or accept any of these choices. You will have a max of 2 more choices of civ and a max of 4 more leaders.

Well, on first glance I don't like any of that. But I'll still wait till the screenshot to make a decision.

Here is the starting screenshot. Let me know when you've decided whether to lock in either the civ or leader or what you'd like to reroll. Confirm in the next two days please. I will be rerolling for everyone that rejects either civ or leader or both once I have all confirmations for this round of selections.
Your start:

Oh, just lovely. Grassland, lots of rivers, lots of resources. This is exactly what I was hoping for. Why anyone at RB ever thought that cramped, dry, and foodless was preferable I'll never know.
1 question: Is that the actual starting location for the settler? It won't start on the plains hill?

The settler will start on that grassland yes.

Wow, I think this'll be the first time the starting settler hasn't been on a plains hill in years. We're really throwing it back here.

Umm, does everyone start on a flat grassland next to a plains hill? Because I would prefer that either we all start on a PH or no-one starts on a PH. It probbably should have been something we voted on, but I don't think anyone ever thought we would need to.
edit: I don't think this has come up, but if I don't re-roll the civ now, does that lock it in permanently, or can I re-roll the civ after getting new leaders?

What you don't trust me? No one starts on a PH, everyone faces a choice.
Once you lock in either your leader or civ its locked in no more rerolls. Rerolls happen at the same time for everybody so either you reroll civ or you don't.
