Hello realms beyond,

it appears that I have to make a thread here to have the game running smoothly. So here it is. Althought its not likely to have much content, since I´m going to make a proper planning thread at civforum.
At least the starting position will be here and if I´m highly motivated I can post a few pictures if something interesting happens.

William once was my favorite Leader und Mali still is one of my favorite Civs. I can work with that.

Ok, its going to be William van Oranje van Mali.

With this many river tiles Fin will be strong and Kre is a nice addition. Mali has good starting techs and a good UB. Skirmishers are nice too.

The starting position is much stronger than those at civforum. Building the first city on sugar is pretty much set.

Hi, I have a question for lurkers because I do not know the rules on RB on this. I got this offer:

   

This is great for me of course and so I accepted. But thinking about it, I noticed I might not be able to pay this much and remebered there was a bug which created money and was not allowed on civforum. So my question is: Was I allowed to accept the peace treaty or was I expected to decline?

Or is this maybe fixed by the CloseToHome mod?

If I understand correctly, your income prior to the trade is +848 gpt (shown in top left of the screenshot) and accepting the trade results a deficit of 652 gpt. Thus you will run out of money in about 6 turns. At that point, your civ will begin a strike but Amicalola will still receive the 1500 gpt which get created from nothing.

I was not aware that trades exceeding your current income were allowed.
