Yeah, it looks pretty spectacular. There's much more information here too:
Major points from there and Reddit:
- Modern graphics engine rendering at full frame rate, but the game internals still use the 25 ticks per second that it always has
- The graphics engine runs on top of the entire original gameplay code, including the tile grid and all details of items and skill mechanics
- Larger and shared stash
- Advanced stats page in the character screen (shows magic find, etc)
- Offline play confirmed, though the program authenticates online
- Auto gold pickup is optional
- Controller support for consoles, including tweaks to how some skills aim and target
- Includes the expansion, though classic games and characters are still possible
- Lots of modern UI tweaks
- 8 Player multiplayer confirmed
- Lots of battle.net back-end improvements: duplicate character names possible, global play rather than regional realms, able to search different difficulty games
