[Mjmd #60] Why even buy toys for kids?

We are getting back into full spring and soon summer, which is great because a lot things kids have a blast with and you don't have to buy are outside (although some will be inside stuff). Capital will be 'Water', you can play in it. Any random old cup becomes a toy. You can throw sticks and rocks into it (also probable city names). Yes 'box' will also appear and is probably the more classic name, but deal with it.

Most people probably know, but I have 3 young young kids and I was reminded of this yesterday. I usually have trouble with city naming themes, so !

In that case you can put 'tree' to the classics

My youngest recently discovered a new favorite toy: The kitchen door. He'll lie on the floor and play peek-a-boo while closing and opening it.
Playing: PB74
Played: PB58 - PB59 - PB62 - PB66 - PB67
Dedlurked: PB56 (Amicalola) - PB72 (Greenline)
Maps: PB60 - PB61 - PB63 - PB68 - PB70 - PB73 - PB76

@ Charriu - very solid name. I loved climbing trees when I was young. Sad my current yard you can't really, but they do pretty well for hide and seek. Life tip for people buying homes who plan to have kids. If you trim / get your trees trimmed leave some lower branches to climb up.

@Tarkeel - another solid name. Especially if into a cabinet or something you've built for them: putting things into them, then taking them out, repeat to infinity........

I am taking any and all suggestions. I already have rethought capital name. Also for some reason even though this was advertised as a quicker game everyone wants a big map so might get to use them.

See I can tell Thrawn's children are a bit older. For those unaware small children's winter gloves ARE AWEFUL. They therefore can't really make snowballs yet. I can make snowballs for them, but even at that only my oldest (was 3 last winter) could actually throw them to any degree. Mind we still had fun putting them down slides and the game plop. Plop is just throwing a snowball up high and seeing it hit the driveway. Plop can also be played with anything being dropped in water.

My kids did have a ton of fun sledding, BUT snow hill requires you to buy a sled which disqualifies (my kids aren't quite to the roll recklessly down hill stage yet).

Puddle is probably part of water (unless I really end up with a lot of cities). Stick sword similarly is part of stick.

I can recommend gloves with zippers for small children.

Split up "water" into multiple cities. It's way to broad with "water".

Well I thought we were going to have a smaller map and therefore less cities...... I mean its my fault for letting people vote on it, although to be fair I wanted closer to 110 than 100, but everyone so far has voted even bigger than that soooo ya. The problem is once you start splitting up you could easily do a dozen 'water' cities. My new planned capital name is about as broad as possible. Now mind for things like 'tree' I could see splitting it up as 'tree' and 'log'.

The best I've found in the US for gloves are ones with tightening cords. The main problem though is always the fingers; ie having any flexibility once you put them on. Little fingers just have trouble with winter gloves with any bulkiness.
