If you're willing to entertain bad advice and reporting like usual I'd be happy to lurk in a more serious capacity (not read other threads at least). It's been too long since I had the Now Frogger experience and global lurking is not as interesting.

Welcome! Although if your advice is bad, I'm terrified to think about who's giving good advice.

In PB59, I've leaned a little too much into cranky misanthropy, so hopefully PB62 resets me into a happy-go-lucky kind of reporter. Speaking of '59, my leader+civ was a little too serious there, so I'm looking to play something wacky. (Alex of Japan reprise?  ) But if you're happy with a tiny bit* of silliness, let's party!

Rusten, I'll make a sandbox hopefully later today, if you want to play around in it. I don't think I'll have time today to come to any firm conclusions, but I bet we have a couple days. We're also last in the snake-pick.

First couple thoughts:
1) Holy smokes that's a lot of forests. Don't make me build Pyramids! 
2) Very few tiles I'm super excited to cottage. I wonder if this makes a quick Academy better.

Yeah… that might have been my overexcited but under-caffeinated brain talking. My thinking was: 1) the capital is the backbone of early game research 2) these capitals are all pretty weak researchers (assuming similar caps) 3) if everybody’s research is weak, an academy would be a huge advantage over other players early game.

The other thing a Great Scientist would do, however, is bulbing Math, which looks like a great bulb if the rest of the world looks like the cap. (Big “if.”)

Thanks for the sandbox. My first thought is that the PH 2N1W might outperform SIP. At least that's where I'd send the scout.
