I strongly consider just wandering off into the wilds to the north from here. Because as it stands this capital is kind of terrible.

Good capital should either have long-term potential (lots of cottages) or short term-potential (lots of production for a quick start). This one has neither.

On the other hand, I have fishing/mining, if Sheep is my only food resource (a distinct possibility if I go wander), I am very much fucked.

How do things look now that you've scouted around a bit?

Any good hut pops?

It is an interesting start, I think I am going to build lots of wonders with it. Slightly worried though that lots of people found me and I do not know where is anyone.
Hut luck is terrible: map, map, 31 gold.
I'll try to have a proper update in a few days.
