I'm going to chime in to mention that I found this report difficult to follow. The turn log format didn't help, but a bigger problem for me was that I have no idea where any of your cities are located (in fact, after reading this report, I added an extra screenie to mine to better illustrate the French core).
Also, I suggest avoiding stock footage (ie, any screen shots where you are tempted to use a better picture from a different game). Example: the leaders in the first page of your report. Your readers know what these people look like already, and everybody who played this tournament faced the same opposition, so the signal to noise ratio craters. What we are less likely to know is how you feel about the different leaders - that's the information that's unique to your game, and it's easily against the background of the picture. Shrug - unsolicited advice is worth what you paid for it. Maybe I'm just cranky that you finished faster than I did ![]() VoiceOfUnreason Wrote:I'm going to chime in to mention that I found this report difficult to follow. Thanks for the notes. I actually lost most of my notes and screenshots for this game, especially for the beginning of the game, which is why I had to resort to the turnlog. I appreciate your advice about "stock" footage - makes sense - thanks. |
