Aurorarcher crawls out again!

Here we go again. It's been a break for almost two years.

I'm most certainly going to pick Faeryl. Averax with -10% science no thanks and Lanun just feels boring at the moment. Also the weaker warriors work well against my Sinister recon units!

Indeed warriors  will be easy prey for your recon units espeacely if you find a scorpion. I didnt catch if you will start with hunting or not?

Yeah, good reminder. I had forgotten about that. If I can capture one of those my units will become very powerful. It's not easy to find even one scorpion though.

Not sure about starting with Hunting. Hope so.

Q is doing some nice tricks.

You can see where Q's 2nd city is from the new trees. Treants live 5 turns and can double move on forest (not new ones). I counted that 7 of those can reach Mig's cap before they disappear. Good luck, Mig! I hope you survive but this might also help me so it's all good even if... err... when you lose the cap.

I am building Fawns already + I found Scorpion nearby. When I catch it those 6 str Fawns will be nice... still early, but there will be blood I promise.

Been lacking time to report, but this game has been interesting.

Brian's old empire is now mine (I took them from barbs).

I also hunted Q's fawn and killed it. Got a bit greedy thinking his eastern cities might be poorly protected.

Wasn't the case, heh. We are still in war and I think I want to keep it that way. We're still pretty far away from each other so no immediate battles will happen quickly. Q also got Great Prophet.

This is our closest "almost border". And this is a potential attack path with all the roads in the future.

Norman (Mig's old capital) is another tense place which I could use to my advantage. Miguelito is pretty much on my side here (or so I feel) as he really wants revenge against Q (or so I believe, heh). Mig's economy is surprisingly good despite having only 3 cities. He also has Bambur and some nice melee units.

I have some seriously good units, I have a captured Scorpion so my Recon units gain +1 Poison combat. So Fawns are 6/5. I got Kithra and I could upgrade 3-4 Fawns (if I have the money, 100g each so ehh...) to Satyrs 11/5. Those are deadly.

Notice Q has PoLs now. Did he bulb Priesthood or just normally tech it? Can't be sure. He is also building Horseman. Maybe to counter my mobility with commando?

Turn earlier I got Great Sage.

First idea was GA and revolt to City States. Then I remembered Illians. Bing could ruin my whole GA with his World Spell. So maybe not. I revolted to City States anyway with 1t revolt just to save 30g per. I am currently planning on teching magic line (I guess I have to use my ARC to something), at least Adepts but potentially Mages in the future. I could bulb half of the beakers required to get Sorcery.

Going full against Q (even in the future) might not be possible though as I have border with Bing also.

I am asking Bing for OB to see how he feels about that. He is currently having friendly "wheat for wheat" deals with Q so there's that. We'll see. He still has not build The White Hand for some reason. Bing seems quite new to EitB (I could be wrong). He's got the 3 Hill Giants though and Javeling Throwers. Not that I am afraid of those slow units. Anyway... not sure if I should attack him first when the time comes to force him to use his World Spell...

Then I did something stupid, I thought I would milk with Q's warriors, knowning he doesn't have OB with Mig.

Flawless win, I went hiding up north.

At that point I figured there's no way he can hit my Kithra back. By declaring he could but only with couple units.



But... next turn Mig had given OB to Q for some reason duh .

And the situation looked like this T69. More horseman on their way... my Kithra was pretty much trapped.

Fortunately I had units behind to clear way for my Kithra.

This was a loss though.

I had a Fawn to deal with a cleanup so I managed to hide my Kithra quite far towards my border. So I guess Mig wants to help Q sadly.

I went ahead and offered Q peace. There simply is nothing I can do at the moment. I have an army of about 10 fawns but taking cities at the moment and making it profitable for me is not possible. Probably should have kept the peace with Q when he offered it to me earlier. I think I probably have to kill Mig when it comes to fight next time...that will come later as there's still some land to settle but yeah. He has some decent cities right next to me. More thoughts on that later. If Q takes my 10t peace offer that will be a good sign. He has quite high power but that might be mostly because of PoLs (about 12k each if I remember correctly).

T75.

Peace it is with Q (started T69 I think), still couple turns left of that Treaty.

I got Alternation and my first adept is out, soon getting that Body mana. I offered Bing Mind + Wheat for his Ice mana. I am really happy if he accepts that.

I am building a lot of Fawns. A lot. I have about 15 now. Me and Q have pretty much same size power at the moment. I like that his empire is so wide in West-East direction. Should help my attack plans. More on that later.

Also attacking Mig is off for now and future, he has some decent units and while I think I could take him down if I wanted that would give Q time to pile in, even against me. So yeah... not going to happen. Also Mig is very unlikely to attack me, he has only so slow units. So better keep it that way.

Bing has lowest power (only 92k) and has a lot of defensive Javelin Throwers. So I am not afraid he will attack my empire (ex-Brian's land) any time soon. I have only few units there.

I am teching Poisons now to get my Hero and most importantly Black Mirror. That thing is so deadly I had forgotten. It allows me to summon Illusion copy of any unit that carries that item. The unit will last only 1 turn but it will be very useful.

Demos in gold saving mode (Q also I think) but he is also CRE.

T76. Bing didn't accept my offer frown. Oh well, was worth a try.

I can tech Poisons with 100 % research in 6 turns. I still need to save gold for 3 turns. So 9 turns...
