Welcome to my thread kind sirs. Gonna try reporting this time but no promises.
Gavagai climbs the chaos ladder

Erebus in the Balance - a FFH Modmod based around balancing and polishing FFH for streamlined competitive play.
For my convinience:
Gavagai is Huayana Capac of England Superdeath is Louis XIV of Babylon Commodore is Darius of Maya Hubabl is Joao II of Korea Greenline is Justinian of Aztecs Plemo is Victoria of Scandinavia Bing is Napoleon of Khmer Amicalola is Ragnar of the Ottomans Magic Science is Willem van Oranje of Mali Dreylin is Mehmed II of Portugal Scooter is Elizabeth of Japan Piccadilly is Tokugawa of India Miguelito is Roosevelt of Egypt Tarkeel is Julius Caesar of Germany General Kill Cavalry is Nebuchadnezzar (PHI/IND) of France GT is Kublai Khan of Zululand Pindicator is Zara Yaqob of Sumeria Xist10 is Wang Kon of Rome Donovan Zoi is Suryvarman II of Inca
My plan in PB66 was to take a powerful early combo, grab more land than all others during REX phase, leverage land advantage into conquest and then chain it into more conquest. The idea kind of worked - it just turned out not to be enough to win the game. I need something more powerful than simply strong REX and in this game I want an early shrine. With 19 players it should be a massive boost to economy but also Here I want to try to get an early shrine. It will be an extremely powerful asset in a large game like that but also something that will be vey hard to get.
For an early shrine I will need to things: an early prophet and an early religion. For the prophet I want to build Stonehenge which I have a good chance to get. There are three IND leaders besides me, Mig will mostly likely focus on the Lighthouse and SD is creative and probably would not want Stonehenge (though this is not certain because SD can do literally anything). This leaves the general as my only rival. Early religion will be hard though. We have a lot of players, some of them inexperienced and unskilled, and tribal villages on top of that (three free techs already judging by the score log). It means early game would be dominated by all sorts of random bullshit, religion could conceivably be just popped from a hut. I don't even hope for any of the first two religions but the gold tile down there makes me slightly hopeful that I can be first to Mono. |
