Howdy, i know ive done this before, but ive finally decided to try it again now that i know alot of the issues before.

To those that dont remember/werent part of it its a better version of the Earth 18 map from base bts/civ 4. The only changes ill be making to the map is connecting Japan to the mainland (otherwise Japan does NOTHING of note) and i think something in the America's.


Simplified: Chose a civ, and a leader for that civ. They start in/close to their historical starting spot. Can be either first come/first serve, or find everyone that wants to do it and then run a snake style pick. NOTE only 1 leader of each civ. 

IF i get at least 10 folks to sign up, ill donate 5$ via paypal to whomever's civ wins, and 10$ to a charity/ect if the AI wins.

No barbs/events/other normal stuff. AGGRESSIVE AI turned on.

Basically this. Everyone chooses their civ/leader. I create the map, do my couple edits, and let the AI do their thing. I will fill in spots on the map with ai that didnt get picked. REMEMBER (especially if u played earth 18 b4) civs like Byzantium and Greece share very close borders, making both being chosen a real pain. Same with ottomon and byzantium, or Holy rome and germany, Celtic and english, ect. Those are the main ones. If a player chooses one of those, i will not add a ai next door. ALSO keep in mind that Europe is more lush than other places due to cramped living quarters. ECT ECT.

With that in mind, it looks like we are going 1st come, 1st serve.

the map is called Earth Evolution... 2? i think. Id have to check.

Is it tech trading? If not, Montezuma please. If so, Justinian.

Also, you could use a mod that allows more civs to start with extra, if you wanted.

I hadn't seen this before - has it happened in the past?
