I'm interested in starting a new EitB PBEM game. Something like 4-6 players would be good for turn pace?
I understood RefSteel was available to make a map (thanks a lot, previous ones have been great!).
If enough players sign up, I was thinking of just copying the settings from EitB PBEM LVII. This can of course be discussed further.

I'll sign up. I'm moving in early/mid December, so would appreciate not starting before early next year.

Can we get a couple more sign ups? I would prefer at least five players, but four is doable too.
Starting the game in early January is fine with me (depending on sign ups and map-making schedule of course). But I want to start hyping about my potential civ and start before that

Might be worth pinging Bing on discord to see if he's interested again, or checking on another site like civfanatics. I'd be happy to create a map for whatever number wants to play though, bearing in mind that it won't be nearly as heavily modified as either of the last two.

Having the boosted start as in EitB PBEM LVII is the plan for this game too. As a reminder, boosted start includes the following:
- Free worker in addition to normal starting units
- All players start with the first column of basic techs (ancient chants, agriculture, crafting and exploration). One additional tech can be chosen based on the civilization pick (i.e. Hippus can choose either animal husbandry or calendar)
The reason I avoid calling this advanced start is because it resembles the toggleable game setting with the same name where players use points to buy units and see more than usual around the capital area before buying cities, units, pop etc. So I prefer to call the additional worker + basic techs a "boosted start", if that makes sense.

Thinking about it, I'll be happy to join in after Christmas.
One one condition though, if there's an Illians player, no Samhain, it's too random.

Never again .
Other than traumatic flashbacks, good to see this game coming together.
It may have looked easy, but that is because it was done correctly - Brian Moore

In single player I never build it, beause it has too much of a habit of biting me in the arse.
