Adventure 10 - Ronald's report

For this game I have to try the real strenghts of the Romans. The pretorians, an awesome offensive unit, it must be able to conquer the world with them.

Game plan:

Research Bronze working and build a worker first. Scout the area around Rome. Research Iron Working and build a settler next. They should be finished around the same time.
Look where the iron is, connect it and build pretorians. Scout in the meantime to find the AIs.
Make roads to them and start war with pretorians.

So far the theory, that's the actual:

Settle on place, start BW and worker



Start IW and settler





I did not build a third city. That would be a waste of time. just barracks and pretorians.
The first victim will be Spain.



In 625 BC Spain is eliminated and my pretorians are on the way to Germany.



My first troops are arriving outside of Berlin



In 475 BC Berlin is ours, the other halve of my troops is advancing towards Nottingham.





In 200 BC Germany is conquered.
One part of my troops is advancing towards London,



another part towards York



and the rest towards the last English city



In 100 BC London falls



and York falls



Finally in 75 BC Hastings falls

Very quick, nicely done. With you only founding one city and putting iron in the 1st ring of Arretium you were able to finish your Spanish war before I had started mine.

Well done - a BC victory! I noticed that your game time (2:06) was the same (well, almost - 2:09) as mine but mine took 1000 years longer!
