Now that Railroads is out, 2K has free downloads of Railroad Tycoon available. You have to go to the downloads section.
I never played it the first time around, but I think I may check it out now.  What have I got to lose?

Sorry to do a double reply, but I checked the site after replying and couldn't help commenting on the fact that the original RT (full game) is a 14.2meg dl and the demo for the new game is 256megs. Now that's progress!
