A small group of friends and I have got back into D1 trying ironman (I saw trying because we've yet to beat diablo) we usually play games with 2 of us (all that is ever on at once... (I'm on alot, they're not)) anyways.
I was wondering if anyone else would be intrested in playing a game or 37?
even if not, anyone who has played d1 ironman, ANY adviced is helpful (we're having alot of problems, but we haven't played much in the past few years ^^)

Old joke this may be... And we often say that when we fail to come up with a solid plan entering a dangerous area. It WORKS if you take it seriously and have that in your mind as the most important objective.
This is not strategy, it is something more. It is an attidute, a mindset, and that is, for the most part, what it takes to go beyond.
Other than that, I hear this This Guide is pretty good, definitely worth a read if you haven't yet.

After reading these posts, I went back and read the Forge D1 IM sections. Somehow, previously, I had missed the âstray arrowsâ remark 8-).
Anyways, the point (if there is one) is that the D1 Iron Man State of Mind ⢠is EXTREMELY transferable to other games. If you can Iron Man, you can do ANY MMORPG, when you find like-minded folks. And they will regard you as some sort of minor god 8-).
If I can find my D1 CD, we can hook up and I will kill us all on dlvl 1. Well, until I regain my D1 legs, whereupon I will kill us all on dlvl 2 8-).

ha,  we're getting into the mindset getting alot better.
if you find yourd1 disc I'd love some more people to play with, right now the other 2 guys I play with are only on like a couple hours here and there and rarely at the same time

I would love to hook up with someone who can be online regularly to play D1 Ironman. I've a few friends who also like to play Ironman (Mephista is one of them), but they don't have alot of time to do it, while I do.
For the past few weeks I have been doing solo MP Ironman. I managed to get my first ever win 2 weeks ago with a Rogue, and then scored another win right after that with a Monk in Hellfire (this was very easy, as the Monk is overpowered in normal difficulty D1). I didn't quite expect to get my first win with a Rogue, as I have a lot more experience playing Warriors. However, the last 3 times I tried it with a Warrior, I always died in the Cats from Fire Arrow-trapped chests (I think these kill more solo Ironman players than Lightning Bugs). Because these bugged traps exist, and because of her versatility, I think a Rogue has the best survival chance in solo MP Ironman (at least for normal difficulty).
Anyway, if you want to I'd gladly play with you. Let me know when you can play. I have time right now, even.
