Did anyone play this game? Anyone?
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Yeah, I agree that it wasn't very compelling. The mod is a cute idea, but really no different than just raising the nominal difficulty. Also it was on Epic speed - it certainly wasn't compelling enough to warrant that extra time investment.
The mod would've been no obstacle if I'd wanted to play and I hope we do try some more interesting modded games going forward.
I should make it clear the non-compelling concept was my fault, while the excellent MOD work was Ruff's "fault". Wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong impression

That´s a shame, I liked the scenario, but I made a very bad move right at the start and decided to invest my time in the Imperium instead..
Hello,
I've been a lurker for some time, reading civ4 reports on realms beyond. It sure helped me to up my game! This was the first event I actually tried, and I do have a report. In case anyone is interested I will post it tomorrow. -- cheers apolon
Hi,
the scenario didn't look very appealing to me, sorry. It sounded like a higher difficulty achieved by unusual means but with a similar effect, combined with a theme I was unable to appreciate really as a non-American (who *was* Dan Quayle anyway...). That nobody played is unfortunately though - I guess creating and testing the mod had been a lot of work. ![]() Just to clarify: Installing the mod wouldn't have been a problem. -Kylearan
