I don't think I'd ever wear it in public, though. Without context it's not funny, just innapropriate.

Anyone smart enough will think it is funny. Anyone not smart enough will not get it. They'll just see a couple of cone shaped images and a word starting with the letter "S".

I'm not sure if I agree. Slavery in the United States is still a touchy subject that my well educated and smart African American friends would still not appreciate. In context, funny. In public, not.
