FFH Team PBEM Game

Since the sign ups for the last FFH game lasted about 2 mins, thought there may be sufficient interest in another, maybe something a bit different this time like a team game?

Either 2 teams (say a 4v4 dwarves v elves?) or multiple pairs.

Could be fun, I've just started one so I should probably wait for a bit. I'm sure the places will be snapped up before I have chance to change my mind tomorrow.

I was hoping to see a twist like unrestricted leaders But team play could be very fun... just don't let the Illians and the Clan team up if you have Raging barbarians...

I am fairly open as to how we decide the civs (thinking basing around RP/race lines makes the most interesting for now) and the teams (I assume random partners is fairest?)

Random Partners would be fairest. But assigned before the team picks the Civs.

I'd prefer a 2v2v2 then a 4v4 especially if the 4v4 was going to be roleplay forced to play all the dwarf/elf leaders. If you are going to go teams you should be allowed to try to come up with some crazy or ruthless combinations!

You could actually use a snake pick for this...

1st team = pick a nation
2nd team = pick a nation
3rd team = pick a nation
3rd team = pick a nation
2nd team = pick a nation
1st team = pick a nation

That way you could try to limit some wacky teamup idea's a little while still having fun.

Of course 4v4 could just be crazy especially if one side summons the angels and makes it 5v4

Seems so. A shame. I would have liked a third team to add more strategy. But either way it should move quite fast due to the joint teching power of teamplay.

Ilios and I were talking about 2x2x2x2 game...I'm certainly interested in that or a 4x4.
