I would like to get some feedback on the map before I send it out. Here are the starts:

Twinkletoes089 (Boudica of Germany):



mostly_harmless (Suryavarman II of Greece):



Krill (Wang Kon of Inca):



yuris125 (Gilgamesh of China):



dazedroyalty (Willem of Russia):



I've also attached the worldbuilder file, although you can't open it without the mod installed.

How balanced is this supposed to be? Krill only has one food resource, and TT can move to get corn/wheat/pigs.

Yuris corn is the only one that is not on the river

Yeah Krill is REALLY food deprived there. No seafood and an overabundance of whales...

Yuris has no copper? It wouldn't be so bad if he had horses nearby, but he has no horses either since they are on a peninsula that is blocked off by a peak. even if that peak weren't there it would be very difficult to get a quick city over there.

TT has copper and Horses
mh apparently has neither nearby
Krill has horses no copper
Yuris as I said effectively neither
dazed has 2 copper no horse

Not sure if I agree with this

EDIT: Just noticed that Yuris has copper 3 tiles SE of his start... On effectively a 3 tile island. Did the map generate strat resources in hard to reach places on purpose?

. Thanks for the feedback (and also Cyneheard via chat), I:

1. Added a Cow north of Krill's Corn (but left the Whale of course).
2. I moved TT's Corn 2S1E on his suggestion to avoid a chance to settle Wheat and Corn both.
3. Moved yuri's Corn onto the river (1E).
4. Moved Horse about 4 tiles north toward's MH (he already has Copper nearby).
5. Swapped Copper/Silk near Krill, and added a Fish for the Iron spot.
6. Added Horse for Yuris (he does have Copper a bit to the south).
7. Added Horse for dazed.

If Krill starts on the tile you indicated will he have vision on the corn and cow? Also, does krill have vision on horses from the start? If he doesn't there's a large chance he'll settle on top of them. I'm not sure that's balanced in terms of yields.

Also, I'd take MH's start every time...

EDIT: Also, Yuris seems to have NO food east of his capital.

Couple of fast comments:
* Food distribution is quite uneven as mentioned already: Yuris and Krill has very little compared to TT. Dazed and mh are somewhere in the middle
* Pretty much everyone has easy access to several early luxuries. That is probably intended, but it really has an effect to e.g. the usefulness of Charismatic (did anyone pick charismatic?) and also bloats the research speed early game

Yeah... TT has CHA. Dunno if TT getting nerfed is what you want...
