Update – Thursday, August 11

* Improved traders so that they maintain more stable prices and closer spreads between buy and sell prices.

* Improved traders so that traders from all regions (America, Europe, and Korea) now buy and sell from the same stock and charge the same prices.

Now, if anyone is as big a fashion victim as I am, you may wish to note that dye prices are suddenly reasonable again. I'm not sure how long that will last so hurry if you want to take advantage of the sudden drop in prices.

For those who've been yearning for Superior runes, I also suggest you check the trader out, things dived like nothing. Major Vigor was selling for 340g. If you've been wanting to try the 105 protection build, now is most definitely the time to get the runes to do it.

I was making good clink from exploiting the fact that European and US servers had no direct links between their trader markets. Bozack Maximus and I smuggled some yellow dye across the border less than a week ago for platinum's worth of profit!

Oh well. I suppose I'll have to teach him how to work the amazingly lucretive cloth market then.

Common crafting materials are my most constant plat earner too. For a while it was silver dye, then that got bad. Then it was red, then blue, then green. Then I gave up altogether. The buy back prices were just too silly to even contemplate.

But scales, ingots, cloth and tanned hides remained strong (and predictable) in terms of buy back prices. I could actually count on the weekends to bring price spikes for material unloading.

Now the entire trading landscape is changing, for better or worse, we'll just have to wait and see how it pans out.

Yeah, I find that cloth is usually the best one. Something about it being wanted in bulk quantities for high end armour . . . 8)

I saw a trader buy back price hit 139 for 10 on cloth a few days ago and didn't really move on it, but I was onto the selling a little while later at 130/10. I was even buying from players on the spot and cashing in at the trader a few seconds later a couple of times.

I have yet to see Iron hit the golden 100/10 although Scales and Wood have climbed into the decent-to-sell range.

There was a point when tanned hides were going for 30.9g a piece. Oh that was a nice time to be around. Scales I've seen hit 24g though that was more than a month ago. Cloth is definitely the golden material right now, rises up consistently during peak US hours. Probably more likely now that people have been able to buy ectoplasms for 300g each. 8)
