Kickstarter and MoM

Hi there,
I've noticed that there has been so many efforts to re-create MoM, possibly from scratch. However, all these efforts have met the reality of our busy lives

Would it be a good idea to use Kickstarter to "fund" the re-creation of MoM?
Perhaps it would work?

I wouldn`t wish money to enter the equation. That spells trouble.

I know nothing of Kickstarter,(I only took a look) but I also question wether the terms would allow for this.
