Halloween Update

Just a few bug fixes and a couple of added features - the ability to hide/show cape and head gear.

It is a must-see update. I won't spoil your enjoyment with screenies. Log on before halloween ends! Places to visit are LA, Droknar and the Tomb.

It would have been neat if Meteor Shower changed so it dropped pumpkins. Oh well, the changes made are pretty nice, can't wait to see what they have in store for Christmas.

They keep on addin'. Again, Lion's Arch got the biggest overhaul (With somewhat of a stroke of genius as far as new henchmen are concerned) but there are now collectors in most major outposts trading Halloween treats for certain collectables.

Heh. Yeah, someone offered me 5K gold for the 50 Stone Summit Badges Kronin was lugging around. Of course that was about 11 hours ago now and I have no idea of the current market value of badges. It's good how the devs targeted badges, Decayed Orr Emblems and Charr Carvings for the horsemen eh? Common junk for the most part. I'm glad I have a use for them now.

Who/where is collecting Charr Carving?

I have 60 badges and only 15 emblem so it seems better for me to trade 2 badges rather then 5 (3?) emblems for the same thing. Unless I can sell the badges for a hefty profit of course :-D How many carvings per item? I estimate I have just as much carvings as I do emblems...

We want a group picture! Don't worry if you don't have the collectibles, I have got that covered.

I wonder if the Dead King's arrival is going to be a interavtive event.

It's 3 emblems a pop in Lion's Arch. The Ascalon collector, if you missed it, is right next to the material trader in Ascalon City. It's a level 18 undead horseman. The collector in Denravi is... Well, just a little off from the main market square.

3 Charr Carvings a pop in Ascalon, and 2 Maguuma Manes in Denravi. Considering just how damned common Stone Summit Badges are it's a lot easier to get your goodies in Droknar's Forge.

I should be able to show up on Halloween night at some point, though I'm not really interested in trying to collect a ton of Summit Badges and whatnot. I might take some time and fool around in Sorrow's furnace to snag a couple, but right now my main project is completing the game with my Ele, who has just gotten to the Ring of Fire. She just picked up Elemental Attunement in Perdition Rock and is now kicking all kinds of butt. I might have to rely on borrowing some of KoP's party goodies.

I do want to see if I can fine tune my ranger a tad more, though. From my experience, if I want DPS I'm beginning to think that meteor shower is not a good fit for the build (though meteor shower does also give knockdown, which can be nice.) I think with a bit of fine tuning I can get my ranger build up to 2 fireballs and a firestorm every 13-15s or so, which should be approaching the casting volume my ele pumps out in Air spells. A bit less since I do have to take some time to fire the Oath Shot, and it is only lv12 instead of lv16, but it is all AoE damage.

There's a second horseman in Lion's Arch now, accepting 2 Glowing Hearts for favors.

He's near Sergio the skill trainer.

I just wish it was a tad brighter in places...
