[SPOILER] PB XYZ with the reddit guys (EitB last days)

For lack of a better place here goes my thread about the pitboss game I'll be playing with the reddit guys.

picks so far:

SomeCallMeRoars - Elohim Enoin Logos
fantasticsid & dunnp - Lanun Falamar
Benign Tempest - Sheaim Tebryn Arbandi
kazegami - Hippus Tasunke
h4rt & d23durian - Ljosalfar Arendel Phaedra
Yell0w - Clan of Embers Jonas Endain
I'm looking for 2 ded-lurkers
picks on my mind (and I have to pick fast):
Jonas... get AC high really fast, hope it will criple the others and go for military victory. There are no barbarian civs and no one to push AC counter except Sheaim in lategame.

hmm whats left here builder wise:
Sidar kinda op in EitB.. well go for disciple units and go for Lunutar victory just for fun.

Kuriotates great civ, though the mapsize + number of players make them a less desirable choise. Still great, horsemen/HA for early aggression and defense.

Keelyn for imba summons (death or water)

Illians: well they are banned always... well not here devil Still good in raising the AC counter, really piss off all the builder civs with their sick terra forming ritual, sick civ in general (and ARC instead of DEF now, midgame conquest with ice elementals on mass) Elohim in game so we won't get the AGR most likely.

Luchuirp sick builder civ, we could go for AV and bring the Infernals and a lot of Armageddon to the world, while ignoring golems. Or go for golems which are unchanged by the Acounter and go for midgame military (buffed a lot in EitB)

Varn Gossam top tier pick severely nerved by CHA instead of CRE

sneak in Flauros as 2nd Lanun cause his new CRE trait which should allow for faster Coves, might be still worse than Falamar

EDIT:
game settings

Do an AC rush and there will be no lategame, unless somebody dumps out to Hyborem. If you want to run an AC rush game, I can act as an adviser.

Tech trading makes it a completely different game. I expect this game will be won via diplo rather than whatever goodies your civ has. I'm not sure if you're better off picking a weak civ so you can make friends more easily, or a strong one that can threaten/extort techs out of people.

If I were playing, I'd be worried about being locked out of a research block formed by guys who already knew and trusted each other. Good luck, I have a feeling you'll need it.

The vote stands now between Illians and Jonas, if it is Jonas I'll take you up on that! =)

Well, there certainly is a chance I'll get dogpiled as the "outsider" but they don't have the RB-crack-team.
And there is the Sheaim, they should be up for an alliance as I'll probably be the only one pushing the AC.

Anyone wants to dedlurk and Illians game?

Armageddon Rush games are over before anybody techs trade....

We're all dedlurking. Effectively. Since none of the Reddit people will have a thread will they?

I hate the Reddit layout. So yeah consider me a semi-Ded Lurker just because I will never go onto that site except via links.

Anywho:
Last days are on, so you could go for an AC rush
But all unique features are also on so you have the Pines to deal with somewhere.

Illians you could play the long game of no one wanting to take your land because you ice it all. But Illians would be the easist to freeze out of trading alliance due to everyone disliking the world spell.

Jonas Endain from the Clan of Embers it is.

Soo Selrahc, I guess get philo and this wonder fast, get warrens and spam gobos?

btw. can I delete units with this promotion or will it lower the AC?

The first thing I would advocate, is to run some test games. An AC rush game goes *fast*. Once you have warrens and prophecy up you don't really have to input commands, just Alt build goblins and click end turn until you win. Normally being done in about 20 minutes real time. See what kind of times you can get to AC100 in a 6 player game.

It lowers the AC. Watch out for Strike.

SPOILER for PBEM XXI
Well the key is either popping [strike]Mysticism[/strike] Philo like you did or rushing the prophecy somehow.

I had a few sp games I raised the AC but my army was too large at a point I had like 70 warriors and my army disbanded, I hit AC80 before they did so horsemen were spawned and I won Conquest.... but it was too close for my taste, might it be that goblins take less money than warriors?

Also used my WS on turn 5 every time so far... and I don't get it ellimist got like 14 units on turn 5 in the pbem, yeah that was too many and something like half of it is "normal" but I got 3-4 units every time, thats a little low, so some advice when these units spawn and when to use WS?
