Does Computer affect bombs?

I can't find a definite answer in the manual, but I need to know, does putting resources into Computer to get a higher attack rating make bombs more effective?
I hope not...

It does. A better computer makes bombs do more damage, makes bomb miss less.

As flugauto said, increasing a ship's attack level by adding a superior battle computer (e.g. Mark II instead of Mark I or nothing) or Battle Scanner will increase the chance that its bombs hit their target. Because of the way you asked the question though, I should add: Investing research into the Computers field does not directly increase your chances to hit with bombs. If you've teched all the way up to Robotic Controls VII or but somehow didn't pick up any actual Battle Computer tech along the way (or don't put the battle computers you do research onto your ships) your bombs will work just the same way as if you never opened the Computers field at all. (Well, except that the default Battle Computer I and Battle Scanner will be easier to fit onto ships due to miniaturization. If I'm going to over-explain, I might as well REALLY over-explain.)

I hope that helps!

Thanks for replies. I did indeed notice a difference when increasing the attack rating.
The reason I said "Computer" is because that's what it says in the design screen. Increase Computer and Attack Level also increases.
