Cheers brick. Looks like I do want agriculture to start so I might be dull with Civ choice.

I'll probably settle in place. I don't want to lose mysecond major food resource, fish by moving to the plains hill. The cows are a bit of a lie, i imagine I'll get AH after pottery and BW with this start. If this is still monarch i might consider getting sumeria early. Also considering izzy and mehmed. I doubt there'll be mamy strong fins left when it gets to me.

A toroid also means that there is likely to be neighbours on every side so a slower starting civil may lose out in the expansion race. I likely won't have much backfill that I don't force

Currently no. My themes tend to limp out of the picture around turn 75 or so anyway. If inspiration strikes I'll let you guys know
