So looking over the start, I had first decided to take Mehemed II and go onto the plains hill 1S of the wheat for the extra hammer and the expansive extra health will help offset the lack of a river. However there is no guarantee of a food resource near the plains hill so I decided against that as I would want a 2nd food resource to grow my city. At first I thought going 1N of where the settler is would be the best idea as I would be able to grab the ivory, wheat, and clams resource as well as being on a river. Though after looking at it settling on the ivory resource seems to be the best idea here as I get the 2nd hammer as well as being guaranteed atleast 2 food resources.

I had orginially wanted the dutch on this map as first, it's a map that allows for cirum so I'm guessing their's enough water out there to make use of the dike, and the UU for the dutch. The starting traits also tie in nicely with this as Agri/Fishing allows me access to hook up either food resource without the need to research anything. Though that was taken away from me, so after looking for other Agri/Fishing civ's none of them impressed me at all. Instead though since clams is only +4 food w/o a lighthouse I looked towards an agri/wheel civ for fast cottages. The ottomans appeared to mind since Egypt was taken earlier. Still though I had played the Ottamans before and i would like to try something else. So I had decided to take Sumeria and deny it to Darius I as we all saw that Serdoa did excellent work with this combination in Pitboss 12. Abliet against a pool of green players. The cheaper courthouses are also extremely welcomed here as it's toroid. France also came to mind here, unfortunately their UB wasn't all that terribly strong. Though they have a great UU I usually don't see myself using Musketmen in general, as well as the musketmen coming in a little late.

Turn 1

First turn of the game I moved my scout 2 SW first to spot for any food resources down by the Plains Hill as clams is a rather weak food resource. My settler actually went 1NW-1W as it would have taken 2 turns to found on the ivory tile, so I could get a little bit of extra scouting information. Although I will lose several river tiles from this(the river ends 1 tile North of the Ivory) but I gain several choppable forests so yay. Most of those will probably be turned into settlers as the hammers will get the IMP boost.

Yay a grassland gold resource. And after I founded their was a pigs resource just outside of borders. Scout didn't find a 2nd food resource for the PH city so this became my capital.

Turn 5

Some really fertile lands up here and I will be looking to go for fishing after Mining so while the city grows I can start on a workboat and have the city grow to size 3 before starting a settler.

Turn 7

Alright so here's the micro plan.

So the tech path will be Mining-->Fishing-->BW. Once the worker comes out start on a warrior and finish it, then start on a workboat. At size 2 work the forested grassland tile. Once the workboat is done net the clams and start on a settler once the capital is to size 3. The worker should go 1S of the cap then put 1 turn of farming into that tile. Then move onto the wheat to farm it. After that move 1NE to put 1 turn of farming into that tile. Afterwards move 2N, and then move onto the hill tile. Then move onto the gold tile to mine.

Following your micro plan to the letter. You left no instructions for the scout, so I moved to the nearest hill tile and will do that whenever possible.
