It looks like whatever idiot was in charge of keeping the thread here and making a backup of it slacked off on his job, and should be found and immediately terminated.

Barring magic it looks like i don't have any way to undelete the thread and bring the game back. So likely time to call it a draw and end it here.

Though, if people still really want to finish it and want the challenge of not having a game thread to read back on, we could still theoretically continue, since I have my game info spreadsheet with everything vital recorded. Except the actual game thread posts. And I couldn't blame anyone for wanting to just be done with it here. :P

I guess either post here or just PM me your thoughts if you want it to remain private in case we continue for metagaming whatever, and once i get a feeling of what a consensus is i can make a call then.

Does anyone use a forum view with a lot of posts per page? I use the default 10 per page, so going back through my browser cache to recover would take a looooong time. Anyone got an intact browser cache with a lot of posts per page? (If you're checking be careful with your use of the back/forward buttons and try to keep the cache alive).

I use 200 posts per page. But AFAICT Chrome isn't caching these pages, presumably because the forum tells it not to. So when you go back it tries to reload the page from the server.

I probably have a page open on my ipad and one on my home computer so I might be able to salvage part of the thread. It was more than 2000 posts total though.

I might have found a way to work some database magic and ge tthe game thread back. More details when i know more.
