Yet again another start with water.
 PB11 coastal start PB13 coastal start PB16 5 lakes and seafood. I'm aquaphobic you know? Well unless there is only two tiles of coast on this start. There is nowhere to move so I guess I SIP. Now I don't know much, and with much I mean nothing, about this mod. On the top of my head I think Commodore will make a map with a lot of water. Why? Because the naval options of the mod haven't been tested yet and with AGG and PRO banned is the other big chance of the mod. What this mean for me? Well CHA would get a little more value. Since FIN lose his usefullnes on water it won't be the best idea to choose it. And that is pretty much all I have for now.
Actually I just noticed that in a way I have already played against my oponents in the past:
suttree : In the infamous PB11 Azza: We never have contac but we were part of PB11 zanth/Bacchus: The nightmare of PB13 GermanJoJo/Lord Parkin : Lord Parkin = LP wich is part of the name of WilliamLP which I already played against twice! Barteq : I think that Barteq is halvgud which was Sisu all along. I Bet nobody see that coming. Gavagai : Although I played PB16 for so little it still count Gawdzak/BaII: Ball was in a team with Kuro on PB11. So, rematch?
I was going to suggest Vikings, but I think Gerkin *might* have just picked them. Portugal? Carthage? Which leader makes lighthouses and harbors cheap in this mod?

AFAIK No trait make harbor cheap on this mod. And ORG leaders would make lighthouse cheap.
I was thinkig to take vikings but then Parkin took it. I'm kinda lost on what to take. My biggest concern is how to research stuff , since tech will cost a lot more than usual. There is also a new building that give 3xp to ships so CHA lost some appealing there. 3 happy faces are good but not good enough. Netherlands could be fun If I'm right about the map and if I manage to survive long enough. Anyway I'll sleep on this. If I can squeze some time maybe even make a sandbox. Also, nice to see you here Harry 
After a bunch of thinking I reduced things to this:
Napoleon Asoka Julius Cesar There all have something good. I especially like JC. I think that now ORG is equal to FIN if not better. IMP is also pretty good. Half courthouse/market/bank could help you recover your economy after a heavy expansion. The thing is that I want to see if Washington of Inca is as good as it sound on paper. I'm between those two. |
